I met my husband on this site. We started talking in late October 2010 and got married February 18 2011. I would have never met him if it weren't for this site. He is the farmer that every farm girl dreams of.

I talked to the owner of this site at the National Farm Machinery Show...what a great person!!

Thanks so much!!

I had joined farmersonly.com because I was looking for a man who enjoyed doing things outside. I thought a farmer would be perfect. After a couple of months I ran across Reed\'s profile. I clicked on it, but I lost my internet connection. I tried to find his profile again, but I didn't have any luck. The next day he messaged me. We talked online for a couple of weeks. We then started talking on the phone. We met in person on July 14, 2007. We had a long distance relationship for 3 years. Last year I finally found a job where he lives, so we decided I should move. We got engaged this January. I was right, a farmer was what I was looking for!

I first came upon this site looking for to find that special someone. I had tried numerous other sites with no luck. I drive truck and that really made it hard but it did give me a larger area for searching for someone.

I was about to end my subscription and thought I would look one last time at who was online. I looked thru and I found a wonderful gal by the name of Jodi Lynn who was online. I liked what she wrote on her profile and the picture of her sitting on the hood of the tractor was cute! I sent her a message hoping for a reply. I sure did! She took a chance on replying to my message even though I was 700 miles from where she lived. After a few emails we started talking over the phone. We met each other a couple months later.

We started seeing each other once a month several months and then I started coming stoping by with the truck on the way to and from the east coast. Eventually, I started spending my time off there with her.

Fall of 2010 we were out in the woods at her place checking trail cams since we both love hunting and the woods and I gave her the surprise of her life! I proposed to her right there in the woods, her favorite place! She said yes!

We moved in together this winter and are currently planning our wedding this October of 2011, in the woods!

-Nick

Farmersonly was truly a godsend to me. I have found the man who I have always needed. A hard working, fun loving farmer who enjoys life just like me. I have never been so happy.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

-Julie

Matt and I talked online and via text and cell phone for a while before meeting up in person for our very first date. Sparks flew! We both realized that very night that we were in love and had met the person God intended us to spend the rest of our lives with! Turns out we had actually met back in college but had never clicked.
Now we're planning an April 2011 wedding and tell all of our single country friends that this site is THE place to look!

Thank You!

-Kimi

We met on farmers only in January of 2009 and hit it off right away. We are both dairy farmers and are now going to milk jerseys together for the rest of our lives. We are set to be married in April 2011.

One of the first people I corresponded with became my sole interest and same for him. We corresponded thru your site for about 6 months when i took the plunge and drove 5 hours from NH to NY to meet the dairy farmer that i enjoyed so much on line. It was a confirmation that the man was who he appeared to be in his writings and it all just clicked. After that first weekend I knew it was real and I had found the person I was looking for. We have now been together 2 and 1/2 years and 6 months ago I was finally offered a job in NY. It has been great, never a doubt for either of us. I enjoy the farm and helping out I only wish I could be there full time instead of having to also work off the farm. I grew up rural but as an adult made the adjustment to the city for work - it was difficult to commute from the rural community to the city for work but as a single parent & the cost of draft horses and my child kept me in the city. Now I am where my heart belongs with the man I was looking for and back on the farm and in a small community for work. Truely farmersonly.com was a savior for both of us to meet people that lived our life style and were not out there trying to impress everyone with their tales of traveling and gym workouts and staged pictures. Farmersonly is about the people that understand the desire to live a life that is real. And I still say those tractors are sexy! :-)

Now I am hoping that my adult daughter finds her young farmer, however she is looking close to home in NH and i do not think there are as many people in the area that know about farmersonly.

Thank you for your site! (I did have faith he was out there)

-Joan

I was told about your website by my brother-in-law.  About a week after I posted my profile I recieved a flirt from Tim. We had an immediate connection since we had so much in common. The four and a half years of were dating with the lond drive, but Tim is such I wonderful man. We are truly happy & in love. Thank you!

-Janet

John and I signed up within days of each other in early June 2008.  I was BlondeIDgirl and he was ModernDay Cowboy!  He was the first person to respond to my profile.  I knew from the moment I saw his profile and read everything about him that he was someone I wanted to get to know.  We talked for 3 weeks and then he flew out to see me in Idaho!  From that moment on, we saw each other every month and he proposed on Valentines Day February 2009.  I moved to Ohio in June 2009 and left my teaching job and family to be with him, so we could start our life together.  We married October 3rd, 2009 and have been happily married for a year now with a son that was born on October 4th, 2010!  Everything about our relationship worked out perfectly and I truly feel like it was a God Thing bringing an Idaho girl and an Ohio boy together by using your site!   I am forever grateful to you for your site because without it I may have never met my husband.  Thank you again for having this amazing site!  I am forever grateful to you and your site!

-Lori

Actually, we are already married. We met on here and had our first date, Feb. 13 2007. We were married Feb. 13, 2010. We are so happy that you have this website, we would of never found each other if it wasn't for you! We are registered jersey dairy farmers and love this lifestyle. Thanks again!

-Andy and Rita

My grandmother passed away May 23rd, 2009. That summer I "asked" grandma find someone who I can love and would love me equally in return. In August, something made me try farmersonly. I had no intention of trying the dating scene again, though. I guess I clicked on Alan as he sent me a message the next day. We emailed, we talked, and after some convincing from Alan, we met. We went out for a second date the next night! Our wedding is October 2010!

-Monica

I found out about farmersonly.com through my next door neighbor. Her dad told her about it and since she was dating someone she told me I should try it since I grew up on a farm. I logged on not ever dreaming I would be married to a guy less than 2 years later. We spoke via instant messager and e-mail for awhile then started talking on the phone and then I invited him to Iowa and the rest is history. I was living in Waukee, a suburb of Des Moines and Daniel lived on a family farm near Lone Elm, Missouri. We date long distance nearly 2 years driving back and forth just over 4 hours. I can't tell you how happy I was to not have to commute back and forth on the weekeends. We just purchased a 30 acre farm with a house. I'm so happy to be living in the country and look forward to raising our kids how I was raised only no hogs or cattle just grain. We got married November 13, 2010 and had a farm themed wedding with lots of great pictures around the farm.

-Angela

Tim and I met on Farmers Only in Oct. 2008, officially began dating in Feb. 2009, got engaged in Nov. 2009, and were happily married in August 2010. We are both from ranching families and are a perfect match for each other. We are each other's best friend and dearest lover.

Thank God for the internet; thank God for Farmers Only!

-Lenee

Summer definitely caught my eye:) I can remember telling her in my first message that it was too bad the she lived clear out in Washington (I live in Indiana). It turned out that she was coming to Indianapolis for a work event. After what seemed like forever just talking on the phone and texting, I picked her up at the airport and we haven't looked back! We are planning on getting married in early 2011. She will be moving here to Indiana so we can raise our two wonderful children:)

-Joe

Martin and I met on June 22, 2009 after sending several messages back and forth through FarmersOnly. He was 5 hours southeast and I had a couple extra days off work from my city job, so I took the plunge and drove out to his family's ranch. I left my car on Forest Service land and he drove me in his pickup the remaining 35 miles to the ranch, my car couldn't make it through the ruts! The first day he showed me all around the property, I met his parents and that evening we sat down and discussed what we were looking for in a relationship- marriage, kids, "that next stage" in life. I left the next morning to return home and our second "date" was the following weekend when we accompanied his parents to their cabin in the mountains. It was on a mountain overlook during this trip that we shared our first kiss! Martin really is a true-blue country gentleman. We quickly progressed to spending as much time as possible together, despite the distance. There were many long hours spent beside him in his tractor while he was haying that summer. In late August we decided that I should move to the ranch, as commuting 600-1200 miles a week between my job in the city and the ranch was not only very expensive, but dangerous after working 12-hour shifts. I was able to find another job 40 miles from the ranch and made the move on September 9, 2009. Martin proposed to me on December 23, 2009! I was feeling ill and laying on the sofa at our home. He called from his parents house, where family was visiting, and asked if I would come down to his parents place if he picked me up. His parents live only a 1/2 mile away. When he walked in I knew something was amiss, he was acting odd. The next thing I knew he was on both knees beside the sofa asking me to marry him! He couldn't wait any longer, despite wanting to wait until we were both among family. Of course I said yes without hesitation!

Our wedding date is May 18, 2011. I still work a full-time "city job" and help ranch on my days off. While I no longer sit beside Martin as he is haying, we are still in the same hay field, only I'm running my own tractor. :)

We met here on farmersonly a couple of years ago, talked for about one year before we actually met in person and we were married in July 2010!!

-Chris

I dont even know where to begin with our story it has been such a whirlwind year. I start talking with Virgil in Aug.09 through Farmersonly and in Oct.09 we decided to meet in person. Mind you we were to the point of talking on the phone nightly for hours. Thank the good lord for Verizon to Verizon free calls. Virgil had never been on a plane let alone out of his state of N.Dakota. He is a very shy person so it was quite nerve wracking for him. But I knew when he walk down that flight of stairs to baggage claim that I had found the love of my life and my husband. We had a great weekend just talking and me showing him around Arizona. A huge culture shock for a very small town guy. We decided that I would come up to his place over Thanksgiving. I met his family and fell in love with him even more and I loved North Dakota. He came down in Dec.09 for our early Christmas together. He proposed then and we married in March.2010 a week later we pack my house, 3dogs, 2cats and 2 horses for a 3 day treck to our North Dakota farm.

We have been married 8 months today. Though it feels like I have known him forever and he has never not been in my life. It blows me away! We are happy and having the time of our lives.

I cant thank you enough for putting this website together. You made it possible for 2 people to finally find what they had been searching and holding out for for years.

Thank you!!

-Sandy

Lloyd and I met on Farmer's only in April of 2006. I lived in CT and he lived in TX. I found him through a 2 week free trial. We liked each others profiles (I was Wirenut, he was Squarenut) and in June of '06 we met for the first time. After dating long distance for about 6 months I made the decision to move to San Antonio in March of 2007. September 26th 2009 we got married! And we live happily ever after!

Thank you so much and sorry for the delay. We always talk about writing to your website and sharing our news. We are absolutely a Farmers Only match!!!

-Jennifer

I met my now husband, of one week, last July, through your this wonderful web site. His name is Kelly. I lived in a suburb of Chicago and was a country wannabee and he was and still is a country/horse lover in Indiana.

His daughters gave him a FarmersOnly membership for Father's day last year and helped him with his profile and pictures. I contacted him, he responded, we corresponded, and eventually started talking via the phone. Eventually he came to see me in Chicago, and that was it; it solidified our being smitten with each other! We knew that we were made for each other and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Yes, we are mature people, 58 and 61 respectively, which only makes us finding each other, at this point in life, so special. Neither one of us have been in a relationship that has brought us as much laughter and joy as ours has.

So we were married last week! We took a wedding journey, via the train out west to Utah, Nevada, and ultimately the Grand Canyon. While is Las Vegas, we got married at a lovley little redwood chapel..he was beaming and so was I.

Thank you FarmersOnly for your contribution in making our dreams come true!

-Jan

David and I met on Farmers Only May 12, 2008. He had checked out my profile several times but never emailed, so I decided to make the first move. I had to see who this "Julia's dad" was. I was "Hoping 4 a miracle"-literally. I was a small town country girl from Kansas, hoping to find the one-my "miracle" I had been looking for. We exchanged emails back and forth on farmers for around 2 1/2 weeks. I looked forward to everyday-hoping I had received another email from David. He captured my interest from the start. He wasn't ashamed to proclaim that he was a Christian and he was always making me smile and laugh. We exchanged emails and numbers but left Farmers as friends. Then David sent me an email saying he was headed out to "my neck of the woods" to go hunting. Well even though Wyoming is not in my neck of the woods, he did go hunting. While he was hunting, him and God had a chat. Something happned out there in Wyoming and I am very thanksful. As soon as he got back to Ohio-I'm pretty sure I was the first person he called. After that night we talked every day and night on the phone. Two months later we decided to meet. David drove from Ohio to Kansas that Thanksgiving and Christmas. We hit it off immediately and loved every minute we had together, whether we were fishing or riding the 4-wheelers or taking walks. We then became known as the "holiday couple"- taking turns visiting each other over various holidays. On August 15th, 2009 David proposed and on December 12, 2009-19 months from when we met on Farmers Only we were married in my hometown known as Thayer, Kansas. After a honeymoon to the Florida Keys, we have made our home in New Bloomington, Ohio.

Thanks Farmers!!

-Tracy

I met my fiance, Jed, on your site back in August 2009. We chatted for about a week and then he drove all the way from Iowa to meet me in Michigan. We went to lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We have been seeing each other as much as we can and just last Tuesday night, Jed popped the question! We are going to be married on 1/1/11! I couldn't be happier! Thank you Farmersonly!

-Candie

I never thought I could find love twice in my lifetime. I lost my wife to cancer 2 years ago. My nephew told my son about the site where he had found a friend. My son helped me sign up on farmers only. I signed up Feb. 21 2009 and within 24 hours I was contacted by several ladies. Joni was one of the first to communicate with me. Luckily I responded to her and the rest is history! I asked her to marry me this past Valentine weekend and she said YES!!! We plan to marry this year. We want to thank you and your site for helping make this possible. We obviously would have never crossed paths without the aid of this site. To our amazement the engagement was announced to the whole State of Nebraska through an article in the Omaha World Herald newspaper! It was in that newspaper that had featured a story about the farmersonly site and she decided to give it a try. Thanks again for helping two lonely hearts meet!!

-Mike & Joni

Me and Becky started sharing emails a year ago at Thanksgiving time and then when I learned that she had limited email access, we started conversing on the telephone. Our first conversation went all over the place and if someone was listening they would have laughed. We finally decided to meet on 12/31/08 and it was to be a night where my daughter was to be with her mother, but Mom didn't show :( We stayed home and watched movies with my daughter and the following weekend I had a Christmas Party to attend that I drove through ice and stuff to attend with a good friend of mine, and after I dropped my friend at home I proceeded to Rebeckah's house to see her and meet her daughter. In the last year we have been through more ups and downs than a married couple, yet this last year (2009) I asked her to be my wife without knowing that my divorce was signed off by the judge the day before!!! She held out until I did it infront of our kids!!! And then she said \"yes\"!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, FarmersOnly for helping me find the LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Hugh

I married my FarmersOnly match, Scott, this November. We first started communicating in October 2007. I was a recent college grad looking for work and to have a little fun talking to a few people with all the free time I had. I didn't grow up on a farm, but I always had a great love of the outdoors and a dream of having a homestead of my own. My mother heard about FarmersOnly and mentioned it to me jokingly. But I created an account because I thought it was an interesting concept for a dating site. I wasn't expecting to start dating anyone, it was more for kicks. But as I browsed the profiles, I kept coming back to one admiring his down-to-earth interests, good grammar (not the norm for most), and relative proximity to myself. As I came back to this profile time and again I hesitated sending a message because it displayed only a picture of a tractor. I thought, "What could this guy be hiding?" I also wondered why this person hadn't sent me a message considering how close we were to each other and the similarity of our interests. (After the fact, I asked Scott and he said he was searching an older age bracket because he didn't want a party girl. I'm 4 years younger but not a party girl.) Finally, I decided to initiate. Thus began our almost daily, lengthy correspondence that carried on nearly a month until we decided to meet in person. Scott turned out to be a country boy from Upstate NY who had moved to the big city, Wash. DC, for work a few years before. He wasn't wild about the bustle of metropolitan life. He was ready to start the next phase of his life, so he was looking for someone who appreciated the simpler things in life, his hobby of collecting and restoring antique tractors, and his dream of going back to the family land in NY. I turned out to be his girl. I love seeing the shock on people's face when I tell them how we met! Nearly two years to the day from when we first met in person we were married. Shortly thereafter we moved from the DC area back to Scott's hometown in Upstate NY. Scott is looking forward to tractor-ing more and I'm looking forward to gardening and trying to raise a few dairy goats.

Scott and I each had big dreams before we met. Those dreams became our dreams for our life together, and they are coming true.

Thanks for hooking us up FarmersOnly!

Scott & Amy

p.s. The single lady who caught my bouquet would like to take you up on the offer of free membership.

-Amy

Well Dale and I met on FarmersOnly in march of 2009. He was living in Southern Alberta While I was living in Ontario. But when we first started chatting we soon learned that he too was originally from Ontario.

In April I moved to Northern Alberta for work and we were able to actually meet. From that week-end on we just knew we were a perfect match for each other. We shared so many common interests, the same sense of humour, likes and dislkes etc. From then on we would take turns making the 4 1/2 hour drive every weekend. In Late June we got engaged and were married October 10/09 in Ontario.

Thank you FarmersOnly

-Kim

Four years ago I used your site and met Terry. We met for the first time in January 2006. In August 2006 we were married. We are still happily married and have a 8 month old son named Noah. Thank you for your wonderful site.

-Shana

I met my husband, Travis, on FarmersOnly last March, and we were married this July 20th. We started talking, decided to meet, and spent our first 2 days working ground for planting season. We fell in love, and got married! All thanks to FarmersOnly. It was the only dating site either one of use had tried, and loved it because there weren't millions of people to weed through, and they were country folk just like us.

Thanks FarmersOnly!

-Travis and Katie

Hey,
My wife Elaine and myself met on Farmersonly three years ago. We got married on the fourth of July this year. I'm a farmer, she is not but had so much fun on her uncle's farm as a kid that she wanted to find a farmer, so she signed up.

-Fred

Rodney and I met on Farmers Only after I had only been on the iste for a couple weeks. I noticed him right away and I liked his picture. He has wonderful bright blue eyes, and also had on a cowboy hat. I still have to laugh about that. We talked a little bit at first and I kind of ignored him for a little bit. I had been in a bitter sort of divorce several months before, and he hadn''t lived with his wife for three years. They were still legally married so I blew him off, big time. I am not really sure what drew me back to him, but something did. He says I contacted him, I thnk it was the other way around. Now it doesn't matter any more. He lived on a farm in Pennsylvania, dairy farm, and I lived in Ohio on a family beef operation. I had grown up on a dairy farm while I was still in school. My Dad died while I was in highschool and we had to sell the dairy herd. I was sad to see them go. He ask if we could meet and eventually I gave in. We had talked for several weeks by phone and we lived about 3 hours apart. I was very curious and so was he. We met and it was just one of those things....kismet I think they call it. We dated for several months, his divorce was finally over, and we decided to get married. Both a lot gun-shy to say the least, but the spark was there undeniably. We will have our second anniversary in November, on the 17th. We have meshed two farming families. Very different families, and try very hard never to take each other for granted. We were both down that road before and cherish what we now have.

-Gyl

Cathy and I started chatting on FarmersOnly.com in May 2009. We connected immediately, sending long and detailed emails to each other, and eventually chatting online and talking on the phone. Cathy lives in California and I live in Michigan. Cathy decided to fly out to visit me for the 4th of July; we clicked immediately and fell in love. Later, I went to California for a conference and spent an extra few days visiting her and her family on her farm. Several days into the trip I proposed, and she said yes. We have scheduled the wedding for April, 2010, and I will be moving to California to live with her. We are deeply in love, and completely matched for each other in every way.

-David

A friend of mine was trying to find a good man for me. She tried to get me to wear dresses or just look more presentable to men. I wore jeans, t-shirts and boots. There was no luck in that department.

One day, she came across FarmersOnly.com. "I am signing you up. It is perfect for you," she told me. See, I grew up on a farm, moved away for college, and had been away from farm life for almost 20 years. There were some guys I was talking to, all were very nice. But there was one that just stood out. We lived about 3 1/2 hours away from each other. We agreed to meet half way. But he decided to drive all of the way to my house. We would talk on the phone, everyday, for no less than an hour. We really got to know each other that way and then we finally met in person.

We were engaged in February and will be married September 19, 2009. I left my job of 10 years and my home to be with him. I never thought in a million years that I would find anyone like him. He is more than a dream come true. I am finally back on the farm.

I would like to send out a million “thank yous” to FarmersOnly! If it weren't for you I would still be doing the same thing as I was doing and just be satisfied with my life. Now I am truly happy. I would like to invite FarmersOnly to the wedding.

-Jennifer

Hello! Farmer's Only works. Even when you are just looking for friendship. My fiancé and I both joined FO last April 2008, just one day apart. We were just looking for others like ourselves who farm or come farming/ranching backgrounds. I am from Ohio and he is from Indiana. He is a Purdue Graduate and I from The Ohio State University. He is Farmall/Case I-H, I am John Deere. I drive a Chevy, He drives a Dodge. So we each have our differences and it will be a mixed marriage. Together we make the perfectly balanced couple. The Lord, Love, Laughter, and Life, are our key focus. With each we will take on the future and depend on each other to get us through the coming seasons.
Friendship is where it all starts. I met a lot of very nice men on here. I still email with 4 of them. All but one is in another state. Make new friends and get to know someone in another part of the country. Life is interesting when you find out how much you have in common or not in common with others in the same career.

Love-Just like in real life distance and farming made our dating life tough. We however made it through all the traveling and scheduling. In 11 days we will take our life long vows of marriage. Of course it's an outdoor event, with lots of farm family and friends. We scheduled the ceremony around planting, spraying and harvest. Typical people who depend on the Lord almighty, good earth, smart farming practices and great family and friends where Agriculture is our way of life.

Gentlemen- adding a picture of your dog or pictures of your family helps. Ladies- funny and to the point is my advice to you. Catching the interest of someone is not always about how attractive someone is.

We never thought that a dating website was for either of us. Guess the Good Lord knows better. We started messaging back and forth, with Hello and nice to meet you. For two months we left messages for each other. On month three (after I got stood up for a date) a friend suggested I call the guy on Farmer's Only. I did and that night we spent the next 9 hours just talking. We talked the next night and the next. After almost a full month of talking we made plans to meet. We met in a public place where I ended up taking him to our family farm and meeting my parents and assorted 50 other relatives for Sunday dinner. After all, if you can survive and pass the relative test, "You're a keeper!" I went out to meet his family the next month and we have been dating since. We became engaged and now are preparing for our wedding and future marriage. I have learned about popcorn farming and he has learned that a blue eyed, red-headed woman from Ohio, was just what the good Lord intended for him.

Dating is hard, farming is challenging, and when you mix the two the odds is stacked against success. Farmer's Only helps.

There is so much to say and limited space and time that we wish everyone a growing season, safe harvest, have a great life.

Tyrell and I began talking on farmersonly about 2 years ago. After 6 months of talking, we met, 2 months later I moved to Nebraska to be close to him. And 2 months ago we got married. One of my bridesmaids caught the bouquet and desperately needs help in finding her "farmer" Thanks! I would never have met my wonderful husband without your help!

-Deandra

After a few mismatches, I was kinda skeptical of online dating. I agreed to go out with my now fiance, a goat farmer from The Plains, Ohio, after we had e-mailed for a few weeks and talked on the phone several times. We went on our first date on August 22, 2008. It was like at first sight for both of us. We both enjoy going hiking, and many other outdoor activities. We went out every weekend and talked on the phone every night during the week. He proposed to me on Christmas day, and we're getting married July 18. Thanks Farmers Only!

Hi, Jason and I met on your website. I wasn't really looking for anyone in particular, I had just heard about the website from a friend and decided to check it out. I was contacted by many different individuals, but Jason is the one that caught my heart! I met him in the beginning of August and we conversed via email the first few weeks and then began speaking on the phone. I went out to visit him in South Dakota and had a wonderful time. I came home to Indiana we spent that time missing each other so we decided I would move to South Dakota. We were engaged last month and have set the wedding date for November 7, 2009. We are both very excited and look forward to our wedding! Thanks again farmersonly!

-Morgan

In December 2005 I made contact with another member...Clayton. I lived in Wyoming and he lived in Kansas. We had several emails then started having extremely long phone conversations. I eventually went to Kansas to meet him and we hit it off so well it was difficult for me to go back to Wyoming! I did end up moving down to Kansas in 2006 and on June 6, 2009 (last Saturday) we got married. Thanks for a wonderful site where like minded country people can meet! We've recommended your site to many of our country/farm/ranch friends.

-Dawn

We first began talking via framersOnly in July of 2007 things went well and around October we had our first phone call. We continued to talk by phone, text message, and email and things began to become serious. The day before new years eve I made the journey from Nebraska to Texas to meet her for the first time. It was the best thing that I had ever done. Everything was confirmed that we were meant to be. On February 10th I traveled to Texas and moved her back to my place in Nebraska. I met her parents later in June and asked her father permission to marry her. Then a year later on June 6th 2009 we officially were married and am writing this message on our honeymoon.

Just a couple of days after I posted my profile on FarmersOnly, I was checking out all of the other active members, and noticed a cute Christian almond farmer in northern CA. In the next day or so, 'Just Farmer' started checking out my profile, and we started communicating on September 23, 2008. After emailing every day for two months, we started talking on the phone, and then met in person for the first time on December 26, 2008. Our wedding is planned for June 23rd, 2009, which is exactly nine months since our first email. Thanks to FarmersOnly, we have both found the love of our lives!

-Rebekah

Jim and I originally met back one night in 1991 while at different colleges. We never dated, but had mutual friends. Last year, a mutual friend recommended your site, and I found Jim there as well. We married 6 months to the day of our first meeting again on-line. I made the move from AZ to KS, and am now happy to be a new farm wife with my best friend!

-Amy

Art and I started “talking” on Farmers over a year ago. I live in Idaho, he in South Dakota. Because of the distance, I never thought of him as anything but a friend. I think he had a different idea though. I wrote in my profile, that I wanted a great guy to sweep me off my feet. He wondered how he could do that. He did it during the next few months by being himself - sweet, kind, honest, considerate, and understanding. He became a very dear friend. Around Christmas 2008, we started sending text messages to one another, and he called the day after Christmas. I pretty immediately knew that there could be something more than a friendship. When we met in person, we knew right away, that we were meant to be together. The best part is that more than anything, I wanted to fall in love with my best friend, and that is exactly what happened.

My house is up for sale and the plan is that I will move there this summer and we will be married somewhere around the 4th of July. How appropriate - there will definitely be fireworks!

-Brenda

We were looking through Farmersonly and found a wonderful guy that fit what my daughter was looking for. They are now happily together expecting a new baby in April along with the two step daughters that came with the package. They are such a cute family. THANKS!!!!

-Peggy

I met Brian last Sept 08 on Farmersonly. We married Jan 17,2009! Brian and I are a perfect match and we new it almost from the start. He came all the way from Wyoming to Texas to meet me. We fell in love and were engaged within a month of meeting each other. We had a lovely wedding and are looking forward to at least 50 years of wedded bliss! I got my real cowboy thanks to God and farmersonly.com!

-Lisa

After not having dated for a couple of years, my daughters wanted to put me on eH*****y. I said no way and someone, to this day I don't remember who, said "Sandra, you need to go on Farmersonly.com, you always say you want to own and live on a farm and have horses, grow vegetables" so I took a chance. "41 year old empty nester" signed on and 24 hours later met "The Horse Whisperer" that was around June 2006. Several e-mails, phone calls and a background check, I met Michael in person, not without having me son in law on the phone asking for the tag of his Ford truck. Our first date lasted 6 hours, he was perfect, tall, handsome, latin, lived on a farm, had horses, loved dogs and working in the yard and his children were grown, just as mine. The nicest thing was that we were both brutally honest about our looks, likes and dislikes (that is huge, the honesty). Everything fell into place, the planets seemed to know we were meant to be together we were soulmates.

Well it's been almost three years and we married on February 21, 2009.

Thank you for helping us find each other.

-Sandra

Adam and I met on Farmer's only. Then we found out we had a mutual friend and everything just fell into place. The wedding will be Feb of 2010

-Jennifer

To Jerry and the Team

I simply can't believe this website. I'm having a blast right now. I can't tell you how hard it is to date a guy who likes a woman who wants to shoot deer, turkey, elk and duck and go fishing. I'm an outdoors girl that never wants to go back, to the city. It's too stuffy there. It's simply amazing your website is awesome. I feel totally at home. If by any chance I settle down with one of your “country boys”. I will be forever grateful.  In the mean time thank you for the opportunities, it's been a good time and I'm still having fun.

Laugh and learn and love always,

-Jodi

A year ago in January, I was looking through the list of people who had viewed my profile. I had been on the site for about a year and was about to give up trying to find someone. With my career and master's degree courses I felt as though I may have had too many things going on and it wasn't my time to find someone. Then I saw Andy's profile. He had looked at my profile and I looked at his and thought he had a great smile and I wanted to see if anything was there. He emailed me back and about a week later he called me. He said he was glad I didn't pick up because he was so nervous and his phone message was probably all he could have mustered. He suggested I look at the America's Heartland News piece on the farmersonly site since he was part of the news story and wanted to make sure I knew he was an ok guy. We hit it off right away and he agreed to come to Nebraska for our first date. He was nervous I wouldn't show up at the airport and I was nervous he wouldn't like me. All the worry was for nothing! Since he arrived 2 days after Valentine's Day he arranged for flowers to be delivered to my office before his visit. I knew he must be someone special. We started traveling back and forth to Ohio or Nebraska alternating months. On December 18, 2007, the same year we met, he bought a plane ticket to Nebraska, proposed to me at the airport and two days later we flew back to Ohio for Christmas. Probably the most spontaneous thing he has ever done next to flying out to Nebraska to meet a girl!

Our wedding is scheduled for June 21, 2008 in Columbus Nebraska and I will move to Ohio during that time. We wanted to find someone but never believed we would. We found each other and love being so joyously happy! Thank you for helping out a greater plan!

-Jennifer

We started chatting to one another last October 2006 on famersonly.com. After a few chats we talked by phone and than in Jan 2007 we actually met for the first time.. We had the time of our life and became great friends. She is from Minnesota and I am from Washingtom state. She moved to the Spokane area in April of 2007. I asked her to marry me in Nov 2007 and we will marry in Feb 2008. Great site Farmers has and I recomend it to anyone looking for a partner. I tried other sites and was not happy with the results.

-Chuck And Kay

We met almost 6 months ago. We hit it off from the very first date. Things progressed very quickly, and we were married on Nov. 17 of this year, 2007. We are both from cattle farming backgrounds. I grew up on a dairy farm, and he owns and runs a dairy farm for a living. We had both been single for several years, and were looking for someone special. And here we are. Thanks.

-Gyl

I met Samantha in December 2006. We wrote for three months and decided we needed to meet. So in Feburary 2007 I flew her out to see me. Things went famously and I fell head over heals for her. I decided the last evening of her visit that she was the girl for me. She then flew out a few more times and in June 2007 I asked her to marry me! She accepted and just a few short months later, on November 17th 2007 we became man and wife! I couldn't be happier and we are looking forward to our life together! Thank you FarmersOnly we would never have met if it hadn't been for you!
-Eric and Samantha

I found my true love in Wisconsin, Pa. I went out, met her, fell head over heels in love, brought her home to Pa and we got married a year ago. We have a beautiful baby boy and another in the oven. Thank you for this web site if it were not for you I would not have my family Ps We are farmers and are blessed our children can be raised on our family farm again Thank You.

-FarmersOnly Member

We met on Farmersonly in Jan. We are both part of the Ag community in our region and LOVE the rural life. Frank is a crop farmer and I am from a farming family. Frank asked me to marry him a month ago while standing in the middle of a bean field on a beautiful August night. We are SO lucky to have found each other and cannot thank you enough!!
-Lisa

My self and Carolyn met here on line. She sent the first flirt during July and as time went on we emailed back and forth til we met each other. We were both widows and we started dating. Will be engaged on Sept. 29 and have our wedding planned for Nov. 24, 2007. Thanks again.

-George

Tom and I met on Farmersonly in May of 2006. We talked through email until December of 2006 then we met and have been dating ever since. Last week he asked me to marry him so we are planning a late summer wedding for 2008. Thanks Farmersonly.

-Sonya

About a year and a half ago I wrote you to let you know that we were engaged to be married. Even though we had to put it off for a year, we finally made our dreams come true and said our vows 2 days ago on August 10th!! I just wanted to thank you again for your site because it lead to the fulfillment of all of our hopes and dreams!! I moved from NY to Canada and Tim and I now share our own personal paradise. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

-Tim and Stacy

Jenny and Steven met on FarmersOnly.com because Stevens mom posted his profile and Jenny's friend suggested it...she was checking it out - they talked, met, their first date was horseback riding on the beach in San Luis Obispo. Steven brought her flowers and does everytime he sees her. They are a true match and Steven is a wonderful man! They are planning their wedding and shopping for rings - they are the cutest couple!

-Jenny

Ryan emailed me first on July 3 and (we live 254 miles away from each other) and the first time we talked was for 5 hours on the phone. We see each other every weekend and have not missed one weekend! On Aug. 29 Ryan proposed. We are getting married on December 15, 2007!! Thank you Farmer's Only

-Julie

Dave and I met on FarmersOnly.com in the fall of 2005. We were both encouraged through our fathers to try out the website due to publicity in various farm magazines. After communicating for a month via e-mail we decided to exchange phone numbers. In December of 2005, we made the decision to meet in my home state of North Carolina. After a weekend in North Carolina we started flying out to see each other. On June 3, 2006 Dave asked me to marry him. I needed another year in North Carolina, but said yes and set the wedding date for July 14, 2007. We have officially married. When asked how to people from such a distance meet each other, we go into our story of Farmers Only. We are convincing the Best Man, Ryan, to start on Farmers Only to find a mate. Without your site, we would have never found each other.

-Dave & Julie

About 2 years ago I was single in Columbus with no farm boys in sight. I grew up near and still have all of my farm boy friends, I was 24 with big dreams of a farm and no one who shared the same ones. After about a week or two grant started pursuing me. I was hesitant to acutally go thru with the dating, I was all about the e mails and flirts then the actual talking to someone I was very apprehensive. Grant Kept on....long after I would have. Looking back I realize that. We met a month after we started talking on farmers only, have been together ever since. We later realized that we bothe went to Ohio State and lived blocks away from each other for 2 years and never met. We will be August 25, 2007. We have our farm all set to move in, the animals are lined up. All of my dreams have come true. Thank you

-Sarah

Ned and I met for the first time due to a flirt sent on FarmersOnly.com a little more than eighteen months ago. The funny thing about our meeting was that for years we traveled in the same circles and never met each other until we put our profiles on FarmersOnly.com. We both showed sheep and went to a lot of the same events and knew a lot of the same people but never actually met each other. Ned put his profile on FarmersOnly.com in the middle of harvest when he was too busy to even sleep. I put my profile on FarmersOnly.com as a joke of sorts. We are both extremely happy that FarmersOnly.com brought us together when we might not have ever met otherwise. We encourage all single people that we know to put their profile on FarmersOnly.com because if it worked for us, it can work for anyone. We are getting married on June 23, 2007 and we couldn't be happier.

-FarmersOnly Member

I have been online dating for almost two years without really finding my match in life. I live in a rural town of 600 people in South Dakota. After reading your story, I logged onto farmersonly.com and put up a profile. I've been talking to a few guys on there, but about a month ago Steve sent me a flirt. After talking every day since then and a 540 mile one-way drive from him just for a night to meet me, I'm hooked on this guy! Wedding bells aren't to far into the future!

-Andrea

It's nice to know that there is a site for farm people to mingle on. Plus, it is VERY easy to use. Thank you!

-Kevin

Rachel and I met through this site last spring, we are to be wed at the end of the month

-Andy and Rachel

Scott and I met on FarmersOnly 15 months ago! We hit it off really well from the first time we wrote to each other! From there on it has been a very exciting adventure for us! After a month we decided to quit using the website and correspond by each others' e-mail. Four months later we had our first conversation by phone! From that day on, our conversations became more and more frequent; until we started talking everyday! We then decided to meet! After a couple meetings, we discovered how much we love each other!! Now we want to spend the rest of our lives together! We are planning a December wedding for this year and we are just as happy as happy can be!

-Amanda and Scott

I met Judy on FarmersOnly.com in Feb. We just married on December 23, and are expecting a long happy marriage. Hurray for FarmersOnly!

-Keith and Judy

Well, it's been right at a year since James and I married. Things sure have progressed in a short year. We now have a small place and are happy raising our horses and enjoying life. Thank you so much for creating this web site.

-James and Barbara

Hello, I wanted to write you regarding my success. I went on line in February, 2006. I met future wife. We are going to be married on Saturday, December 2, 2006. We are a great match with alot of common interest and background. Thank you for your site. Keep up the good work. Thank you

-FarmersOnly Member

I have met one of your subscribers and we have set a wedding date for January 2007. I greatly appreciate your site. I had looked on other sites and none of the people that I had met understood or wanted to understand my job and life in agriculture. I met Mike in the first two weeks of being on your site and we have spent everyday together since we met. He understands and loves the work that I do. We are planning our lives together and are excited too about the future. Both of us had been looking for each other for years. I have given your site to other friends of mine in agriculture who are looking for that someone special and understanding. Thank you for taking the time to put this site together.

-Kari

Just wanted you to know that I met my wife Anna on FarmersOnly on February 13, 2006. Yup - just got herself hitched up to a cattle rancher and mechanical inventor-type in Douglas, Wyoming! (we were married Sept. 20th We both found EXACTLY what we were looking for! Couldn't be happier. I don't need to tell you about meeting people on other dating sites that "liked me" but had no desire to live rurally! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Anna even loves my dog!

-Darrin and Anna

You wanted the story so, here it goes. The very day that I saw your ad on TV I checked into it that night and browsed through the profiles. I went past Johns profile and minutes later went back to it for some unknown reason and began to read his message. Again I left his site, only to return AGAIN. I then decided that he sounded too good. So, I sent him a message. It seems that he also did that very night as well to me. I hadn't even submitted my picture because I didn't have one to send. Anyhow, from that moment on things were too strange. From who contacted who first, to us liking the exact same things in our music tastes, to food likes and dislikes. It got crazier all the time. We would sit and email each other at exactly the same time too; like I said so many coincidences, too many to write about. However, we had talked for weeks, and then decided that we must meet. So, my cousin who has a cottage in Muskoka decided that half way for both of us in distance would have to be "Bracebridge" On. So, off we went with my cousin there to interrogate poor John on my behalf, just to be sure. John brought all the right information for her and he passed the test with flying colors. Which I knew anyways he would, and she left us to enjoy each others company and we spent the whole day in the park talking and loving the beautiful day we had been given for each other! Ever since then we have talked back and forth every morning and night. It certainly has been a case of "Love at first sight" and we have never regretted it since. So our thanks goes out to your service. For if I hadn't seen that commercial that day we would never have made contact and now we are happier than we have ever been. Only good things in our future from now on. Thank you ever so much.

-Lea

My name is Justin from central Kansas where farming is plentiful and my wonderful angel is Katie from the country east of San Francisco, California... Yes I know - California has some country! Katie and I always had in our hearts before we ever met that the exact person we needed God to bless ourselves with would come when God was ready...and that day came June 20, 2006, on FarmersOnly.Com. As I was searching half way across the United States just to see what country girls were in this great United States, I came across Katie and shot her a flirt. I was attracted to her wonderful picture and what little information she provided on her profile. At first, I had no plans of anything coming of our contact because she was half way across the United States and I figured I would just talk and enjoy talking with country folks like me. As we e-mailed and communicated via FarmersOnly.Com and our personal e-mail we quickly found out that God brought us together for a reason of being more then pen-pals. We then soon started talking on the phone and learning more about each other and we both realized we are very picky individuals and both were single because we were tired of settling for less then what we knew we needed. She told me she always wanted a man who was like her dad and could resemble the father figure that raised her as a child. I had a nice selection of traits and desires and moral up-bringing that I have always looked for in a girl and could never find. As time passed, we both passed each others tests that everyone else had been failing for the 10 years of our dating lives. I was just like her father and had many similar ways of looking at life, similar interests and similar beliefs. I was everything she had ever dreamed of having in her life. I at first was not taking the communication seriously until I quickly found out that she was everything I had ever wanted and she also wanted to live a traditional life like myself rather then being some city girl and living up to the new age society and new age worldly views. I flew out to see her less then two months after we met on FarmersOnly.Com, August 16, 2006. We have plans of getting married and plan to spend the rest of our lives together in happiness with God as He was the Great Provider of our relationship. Thanks for everything.

-Justin

Thank you, while on your website in March (after I re-subscribed), I met my fiance' Adam, who is a rancher from Weskan, KS. We are very excited about our relationship and are planning a June 9th wedding on his ranch next summer. Please know that your website is mentioned everytime we are asked how we met. Thanks again!
-Christine

Duane and I met in the early spring of '06. I was browsing one day and came upon his profile and his beautiful smile was the first thing that caught my eye. I never thought we'd hit if off so well since I was from Eastern Canada and Duane was from the midwest US with 1000 miles between us. There was something there that made us both feel like we'd known the other person forever. We started chatting and the rest is history! We still have't missed a day...and on my birthday, after numerous flights, hundreds of emails and daily 3 hour phone calls, Duane proposed to me in the airport as I stepped off the plane. If it wasn't for farmersonly.com we never would've been able to meet. We are both so thankful for this site and for how it has changed both our lives. A million thank yous!!! We're planning to marry next spring.

-Rebecca

I wanted to give you a success story. I have been on your site for some time. Last year I met Deandra here. We became good friends and communicated daily for about 8 months. Finally I flew out and met her last week. We are totally in love and she is moving out to Texas in Oct. She is a great a wonderful women and a good Christian. If it wasn't for your site we would have never met. Thank You and God Bless.

-Jeff

Brian and I met in November of 05. Neither one of us thought that we would really find anyone on this site because online dating had not worked well for in the past, but after seeing each others profiles and talking we realized we were wrong. We haven't missed a day yet! With me living in Michigan and Brian in Georgia there is no way we would have ever met without farmersonly. We plan to marry in August of 07. Thank you farmersonly! We owe it to you!

-FarmersOnly Member

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to join your site, and meet new people....one of which I have fell in love with..who has also fell in love with me....we met in sept. 05, and wrote everday...he is such a wonderful man, and, without your site, we never would have found eachother... or this hapiness, my sincere thanks!

-Billie

My fiance, Nicholas, and I met on farmersonly.com in early December 2005. I was moving to his area to begin a career with the Farm Bureau and his profile caught my eye. We e-mailed for over a month, talked on the phone and then met on January 15, 2006. We've been together ever since and on May 12, he proposed to me in the middle of a sugar cane field in Belle Glade, Florida. We are planning a country wedding in my hometown in Alabama and are so excited about our life together. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your site. He is such an incredible, genuine man. I've met my match, thanks to your site. We would like to invite you to our wedding June 16, 2007. Please contact us if you would like to attend. Have a blessed day!

-Kiley

I would just like to take a moment to thank you for such a wonderful site. I've been involved with farming in one sort of way or another for the past 34 years. During this time I've never found a lady that would consider farming or even living in the country so your site is more than a blessing to a guy like myself. I have never been able to get married and have always wanted to. I just can not believe there are such beautiful ladies out there wanting to farm or ranch in some way. What a great site and again thank you.

-Ross

I can't believe it! After 2-1/2 years of being on dating sites and finding no one I can relate to, I was listening the radio and heard about your site. I checked it out and it is EXACTLY what I've wanted all along! Jerry Miller hit the nail on the head when he realized what us "country/ranch folk" needed. I live in a very rural, country area - beautiful, but rural - where it is very hard to meet someone who isn't your relative or that you haven't known your whole like. I just want to say "Thank you" to Mr. Miller for developing this site. I just became a 12-month Premium member in hopes that this site will prove fruitful in finding great, common-interest men. Wish me luck!

-Darla

Gary and I got married at the end of April, after having met at the end of January on Farmers Only. I relocated to be with him on his farm in upstate, western NY. Thank you for providing a venue that made it possible for us to meet ... we are definitely right for each other and, even with the help of the site, only met by mere chance. Best wishes to others, I hope they find someone extraordinary to share their lives with.

-Jackie

My name is Andrew. I was on your site and met someone, now we are talking about moving in and stating a farm together. She is from New York and I'm from Ohio. We have so much in common it's not even funny. So thank you a lot for this. I wouldn't have found her with out your help. Well I need to go and plant corn, I will let you know more in the further and how it works out for us. Thank You.

-Andrew

Just had to write to you and express my truest gratitude for your site, for it is there I have met the love of my life. I will always be indebted to you for your wonderful service. I could not have met this wonderful man without you. Ed lives in Wallowa Or, which is only about 2000 miles from me in Conroe, Tx...but with all God's help and glory, I will be selling my home and relocating to be with him and my new family, we will be joining three young children and our selves in our matrimony , his little girl and my little boys and we both have other grown children as well. I was a member on country******s.com and I was not very happy with the program there, me and another lady started chatting there about how we liked the site and she is the one that told me about FarmersOnly.com. I signed on the very day she told about it and it was not very long from that point that I met the man of my dreams. Again Thank you so very much...I will highly recommend your site to others seeking love and happiness. Many Blessings to you

-Terra

Thanks for providing a first class service with genuine people as members. After only 2 months I met a great girl who shares my values and interests and things are going wonderfull.

-Very gratefull in Ontario, Canada

I heard about your website over the weekend and could not wait to sign up. Finally I have hope that I may find someone who understands me; who I am and why I'm that way. I can't wait to see what happens in the next 30 days. I've tried M**ch.com, eH*****y, Tr*e.com but all get me to men that don't understand why I don't hang out in town at the bars or why I turn into a pumpkin at 11 pm. Thank you, I have a good feeling about this site. May you be an overwhelming success in the rural community.

-Debby

I am writing to tell you of another successful match thanks to Farmersonly.com. I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone, so imagine my surprise when I met someone from Farmersonly.com who was from my same small town, and what's even more amazing, we didn't even know each other, although we were both raised here. We talked via the computer for a week, and then a phone call, and then we met, and we've been together ever since. It was a perfect match! I could only imagine what "true love" was really like until I met Daryl. He's made every day a treasure. We have recently gotten engaged and plan on getting married this year. To be so in love with someone is such an awesome feeling, and this match would not have been possible without your online service. I can't imagine not spending my life with Daryl. We enjoy doing so many things-together. I've never been with someone that I enjoyed their company as I enjoy his. I just want to say "thank you" for starting Farmersonly.com where there were actually nice, honest, sincere people on there who were actually interested in a true relationship. "Green Acres" is the place to be! Farmersonly is the way to go!

Thank you so much for creating this site for meeting people! I have been dating one of the other members from this site that is the perfect match for me. Both of our moms had told us to go to FarmersOnly within days of each other and we were the first people to talk to each other on here and thanks for the free month of premium membership. We started talking and have been dating for a month now! I am falling in love with him because of how good of a man he is to me and my son. Thanks so much to your site, I am recommending it to all the single people I know that are into the country life or have a farm/ranch definitely!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!
