I was raised on a farm in western Kansas. I have worked in Ag Finance for the last 26 years and have farming interests with my brother, who has now taken over the family farm. My intent is to return to the farm when I retire in a few short years.

I have fairly traditional values and appreciate honesty, integrity, and ambition. I\'m an easy going person with a good sense of humor. I like to have fun and feel life should be enjoyed. I\'m independent, confident, highly motivated, and tend to have a positive outlook on life. My friends would probably say I\'m honest, caring, intelligent, and a good conversationalist. I have many interests and like to try new things, but the farm is still a major part of my life and will continue to be. I take vacation time to go help with planting and harvesting as well as spend a number of weekends in the spring and summer helping out at the farm. Aside from my farming interests my two major passions are photography and Indycar racing (I go to the Indy 500 every year). Some of my other interests include travel (I love the mountains), hiking, biking, dining out, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. Between my job and the farm I lead a pretty active life. I can be comfortable in boots and jeans or a coat and tie.
