I live in a somewhat smaller city but am a small town/country girl at heart. I find peace and happiness when jumping in the car and driving down country back roads; I feel "awake" inside when I see grain fields, old barns, hay bales, a farmer in his combine and winding country lanes. I hate the big city rat race. I find it unsettling and monotonous. My very best memories to date were the summers spent on my Grandparent's grain farm; driving through the fields with my Grandma, taking lunch out to my Grandpa in the combine, the fresh air, the star-filled night skies, helping in the garden and the way my Grandparents worked as such a team - it was so inspiring.

I have a lot to offer the right person. I am hard-working, committed, affectionate, down to earth, home/family-oriented, love kids (though don't have any), great sense of humour, grounded, intelligent and loyal. I'm looking for someone with the same qualities. I'm looking for my "best friend" so that together we build something that's strong and special and lasting and growing; and we're together through thick and thin, the good times and the bad.....each other's #1 supporter and confidante. We work together as a team, we work toward common goals, we create memories together.

Please note: although I have nothing against guys who are 'separated', as I was once in that position many years ago (I've been divorced since 94), I am only looking to get to know someone who is totally single/widowed or divorced. For personal reasons I am not looking to get involved with someone who is separated/still going through the divorce process.
