Hi - and thanks for taking the time to read my profile! Wow, what a great time for a romance as we approach that season of holding hands in the falling snow!

I\'m a simple outdoors person, enjoying long walks in the woods, hiking, snowshoeing, wildlife and the study of nature and weather. While that proverbial country lane in the woods is never more beautiful than in the fall and winter (my 2 favorite seasons), all 4 seasons are to be treasured in their own special way.

I enjoy dining out, dancing, and the beach and am fortunate enough to live near both the beach and the woods. Be it at home or dining out, I enjoy healthy, home-cooked, and (where possible) organic healthy down home food!

I like interacting with children, although I have none of my own. I also love dogs, cats, and all the animals in the great outdoors!. I enjoy my job, but it does keep me busy and I therefore enjoy relaxing in my spare time.

Dancing is great with that special someone - those unrehearsed simple \"slow\" and \"fast\" dances!\"

Have never been married but have met many fine people. Internet dating is great - although I have yet to meet that special someone, I have met many super people and made some friends along the way, making it all worthwhile!

My idea of a perfect date is to first realize that nobody is, in fact, perfect.

I enjoy dating women who are comfortable with themselves and with who they are as a person. Above all else, I cherish honesty. It is the foundation of both a friendship AND a relationship, and certainly hope that you feel the same way.

I would like to meet my first date over coffee or lunch the go for a long walk on that proverbial country lane or nature trail.

Once we get to know each other better, we can go somewhere and relax by a fireplace and cuddle over a hot chocolate, cup of steaming ginger tea, or Green Mountain Coffee! My preference is the Vanilla Organic Coffee - thanks! What is yours?
