Hi there…

I am an easy to get along with outgoing, loving, kind, honest, and sincere woman. I am a ‘young’ 59 and I am very active. I have to be to keep up with my twin 11-year old grandchildren who I am raising. Kids definitely remind you that it is important to be patient and they keep me young. So, if you are not a family person you can stop reading now. I am looking for someone with the same values.

Because I am raising my grandkids, I am not interested in relocating. Also, I want to tell you right up front that if you are from another country and looking for someone to marry to stay in the country, you can keep on trucking! Don\'t stop here.

I love cooking and baking, gardening, canning, dancing, long walks, ice cream, flying kites, fishing and family outings such as cookouts, etc. I also enjoy camping, auctions, flea markets, and dogs. I live every day to the fullest. I enjoy country and classical music and many others in between.

I enjoy going out once in a while, but home is really where the heart is and I enjoy being home and taking care of my family and, hopefully, the new man that I will meet through this site.

I am not looking for anything fancy. I just would like to meet a one woman man -- just a genuine down home ‘good ol’ boy’ (not a hillbilly or a redneck – you know the difference, I’m sure) – just a good man, with good values. A man who doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty and coming in tired (from a day of doing ‘real’ work) to a good supper, a loving woman, and a comfortable home. A man who ‘cleans up nice’, but who makes my heart go pit-a-pat when I see him in a flannel shirt and blue jeans-- not someone who wears a suit all day and is never home at night.

Eventually, I would love to get married again, but don’t tell me that you love me after the first few dates – because you don’t even know me. I’m looking for the ‘real deal’ – a man who is willing to start out as companions first, and then to let it blossom to see where it goes!
