I\'m an active, energetic gal who loves to fish (will bait my own hook), hike (carry my own pack), camp out (in a tent), ride motor cycles (been on 2 long-distance trips), ride horses (used to own horse), ride bicycles (have one!), antique and flea markets (get into trouble here), and just about any adventure as long as it is legal, not immorale. or really scary. I have one grandson who is 4 years old who is the light of my life so you must be at least tolerant of children. I have raised and shown dogs since 1979 and it is a very big part of my life but it does not control my life. I have friends all over the world from showing dogs. Been to the UK twice to stay with dog friends and live the typical small-town English family life - walked to the local pub, ran down to the \"chemist\" for sundries and been on a double-dekker bus. Life has so much to offer and I want to take advantage of all that I can but it is so much more fun to do things with a companion than by yourself. I love animals of all kinds and don\'t mind a hard day\'s work taking care of them. Used to can fresh veggies and made home-made pies/cakes. Also enjoy the country life - easy going and quiet. Having a companion opens up so many more doors to explore. If you are open minded, in reasonably good physical condition (mentally too would help), don\'t smoke then I would to hear from you.
