I grew up in the country where we grew a large garden. We had 4 ponies and I remember riding them all over the country-side. What wonderful memories. I have lived in many areas of the country and always preferred the farming areas in Missouri, Kansas and of course Michigan where I grew up. Even the Georgia farm country had me in its spell.

That said I realize farming is a lot of work and sometimes can be overwhelming. I am not looking at farming with rose-colored glasses. It is my dream to help conserve some of the endangered breeds on the ALBC-USA list as well as garden with heritage vegetables and fruits. I enjoy putting up or "putting by" the fruits of the farm. I just purchased ahoue on 9 acres which I know isn't a farm but it is my new homestead. So far I have had no luck getting my rabbits to multiply. Maybe this time (third) will be the charm.

I enjoy the simple things in life but I am not opposed to an occasional night out on the town. I am not into the bar scene however and can't tolerate a drunk.

I am a hair dresser by profession and by choice. I love doing hair and I own my own small salon in a small town.

I raise my 4 yo grandson and would love for him to have the privilege of growing up on a farm. He loves animals and we currently are trying to raise rabbits for meat and for fun.
