About GladGardener:
I am a small-scale (with the emphasis on \"small\") grower of organic produce who sells at a local farmers market. A couple of years ago, I finally acted on my love of gardening and outside work and trained through an organic farming apprenticeship program. Since then, I have been applying what I learned.

I am looking for a few acres to expand the operation. I may in time be able to relocate. I love nothing more than long days working hard outside, taking care of the soil and plants, and seeing them growing, healthy, and beautiful. Despite my age, I have lots of energy and generally can keep up with folks much younger.

I love being outside at dawn and sunset, in heat or cold, working hard, pausing to watch the geese fly or the moon rise.

I currently live with an aging parent who needs me nearby. But I would like to connect with a kindred spirit who has a similar passion for gardening and farming and see where that leads. I want to fall in love, love deeply, and be loved. I am looking for someone with whom to share the rest of my life. I am also thrilled to find this web site filled with profiles of individuals who have a similar passion for the farming life. I am sure to make some good friends.

I long to again live on the land, where I can see the Milky Way, hear the whipperwills, and sit by a crackling fire under the stars. I know someday that will happen.

I am a vegetarian so probably would not be compatible with someone who raises cattle or other animals for meat. I am fine with someone who includes meat in their diet. I am liberal in my politics and non-orthodox in my spiritual beliefs.
