I believe life is a journey and being happy is a choice. There is a lot more to learn about a person than can be written in a page. I read in a lot of profiles comments about baggage. Well, in my opinion, anyone who reaches 50 without baggage must have lived under a rock. It's not the baggage, but what you do with it. Well learned lessons from the past are what make a person stable and wise. I hope I have given you an insight into my thinking.

Being a homemaker for twenty years, I've had a lot of ground work to do to become self sufficient. I've been accepted to college for cabinetmaking/woodworking. It is a two year course. You would need you to support me in my efforts. Sorry for this statement, but a lot of men seem to believe that women my age (or any woman) are just looking for a partner to live of off. Especially if she has very little. I don't have much, and I'm happy as I am. Don't need lots of stuff. Just want someone to enjoy the days with. Building a friendship with trust is important to me. Friendships take time to build and I'm in no hurry. I believe the phrase, life is what happens when your making plans.
