Hi there,
I\'m your typical orchardist by day and translator by...day. I don\'t sleep much. The orchard is still young and pre-productive, but of course it needs a lot of work-- kind of like a child that way.
I grew up and was educated in cities in the US and abroad, but I chose the country life three years ago because it\'s always been what I wanted. Now I live in a small town in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont where it snows and snows in the winter, and it\'s great!
I eat a vegan diet (with occasional fish) because of the disgusting industry practices that I won\'t support, including cruelty to humans and (other) animals alike, the negative environmental consequences, and because I feel that all that animal protein is just plain old bad for a body.
