I'm an honest person with a good sense of humor once you get past my initial shy side. I currently live in northern New Jersey, which still has some rural areas with small farms. I even pass one on my way to my job as a legal secretary. Although I'm originally from Germany, my family moved here when I was a kid and I spent most of my childhood in good old Brooklyn, NY and eventually wound up here. This type of living suits me more than city living. My very rare trips into NYC are enough to remind me how lucky I am to be living in the country. I've been on my own for quite a few years and am ready to find someone special to share my life with. I have two grown children and they each have their own lives, as it should be, but it can be lonely for me. Meeting the right person, who enjoys a simple life spent with loved ones and friends sounds perfect. An occasional night out and some traveling would be great too.
