About KSUPURPLE:
I grew up in Manhattan Kansas. My dad was a professor in animal science at Kansas State University. I remember as a young kid Dad took me and my two brothers, [I ws about five] to a field where they were cutting alfalfa. He just wanted us boys to experience the aroma. I\'ll never forget that. Another thing my dad did was give was play a game in the car to pass time. he would ask us to name the breed of cow as we drove by. If we got it right we got a penny lol. The only two breeds I could name were Black Angus and Holstein! I grew up as a kid loving the outdoors , fishing, hunting swimming in creeks etc. Five years ago my brother and I bought a small [120acre farm] with 30 acres of woods and a good creek running thru it. I love going out there, lots of turkey, quail, deer and other wildlife. I wouldn\'t call myself a farmer by any means but a country boy at heart
