Hello. I'm a small town woman, born and raised. I grew up on a 180 acre farm and have a self-reliant attitude towards life. The way I see it is: if I can raise it, grow it, make it, or hunt it...why should I have to buy it? I am a divorced mother of one intelligent little boy, who is hyper and quite a handful at times. I get a lot of people who say to me "I don't know how you do it!?" Personally, I didn't know being a real mother was optional!!!

I went through a very rough marriage ten years ago, so I've had plenty of time to know what i do and do NOT want in a relationship. The very first thing you should know up front is don't ask me to be honest and then be offended when I give it to you straight. I just have a strong sense of self and what my needs and wants are, and I will never comprimise who I am to appease someone else again. I know what I like and want, and I have a stubborn streak a mile long. I think if you're going to BE together, then things oughta get DONE together...period. Family is a high priority in my life. I'm spiritual, believe in God, and have zero tolerance for racism or any other judgemental mindsets. I I love all people, and as long as they're good to me, I'm good to them, simple as that.

Educationally, I have 4 years of college under my belt, but when my son started having problems I dropped out. He will grow up and I only get one chance to be there for him...school will always be around. I don't expect perfection, but I would like someone who can hold a mature and intelligent conversation when I need them to be serious.

Being realistic, I am very busy with my son and everyday chores. I've been done with the "going out" scene for quite a few years now. I never was much of a bar or club person to begin with. I prefer a campfire and a few friends and I don't like big noisy crowds.

Okay, if you made it this far, then let's talk about the good stuff. Yes, I am a country girl through and through, but I can dress up and look like a completely different person haha. I currently stay with my parents. Let's face it, no one has the ambition of living with their parents at age 33, but sometimes you just have to do what you gotta do. I miss my privacy, that's for sure! I own three quarter horses and absolutely LOVE to ride. I broke and trained horses for almost 9 years but stopped training a few years ago after it started taking a toll on my back and knees. Occasionally, I judge horse shows too.

I just recently put together a chicken coop so my family can enjoy farm fresh eggs again...the stores have NOTHING on good farm raised brown eggs! Next month, I hope to be putting up fence for the cattle my dad wants to raise for beef. That crap on the shelves might be red but it tastes like crap! Half the time I can't even identify it as beef!! That doesn't mean I hire someone to come in and do ifence for me either :P This will be the third pasture i've fenced in the last four years. Barbed-wire cuts are a pretty normal thing for me every year lol. And let's not forget the pigs, cause I raise at least 2 every year for butcher. On top of all that, I hunt, fish, and love love love camping! I used to go 4wheeling yrs ago but don't have my own atv :(

I'm a hell of a good cook and enjoy trying new things too. I love BBQ, and even have my own recipe that no one has ever turned down lol. From ribs to fine italian, you name it, I can probably make it. On that note, I like playing hostess. Good food, good company, and a nice time.
