Hi. I am a single Mother of a beautiful 9 year old daughter. I am 41 years old, but really don\'t feel like it. I currently am a social worker in a Long Term Care Facility that specializes in Alzheimer\'s Disease. My daughter and I raise rabbits for our hobby, showmanship and yes for food. My friends say I am intelligent, funny, caring, and always there in a pinch. I enjoy just about everything and always up for something new. I am the most comfortable in my jeans, my boots and an old work shirt. I love to hike, mountain bike, fish, go camping with my daughter and her friends, we also go caving, love a good bon fire. I am not one of those girls who see\'s \"bambi\", I see Antlers up on my wall, (thank you Brad Paisely). I can get up with the best of them at 4:30am to sit in a tree stand. Have more luck with deer than turkey or quail. I am not afraid of hard work. I take care of 175 elderly people daily who suffer from the horrible effects of Alzheimer\'s, that in itself is hard work. On weekends, I can be found on my friends farm helping mow the hay, get ready for the goat auction or building new rabbit huts for our rabbits.
I can dress up with the best for a night on the town in downtown Chicago, which is not very far from my home. I am usually up for just about anything on the spur of the moment.
I love long walks on the beach, love to watch football on Saturday afternoon (Fighting Irish and Fighting Illini fan here). Love my Bears and Cubbies. Hockey is good for the soul in the winter. I love to cook and bake, enjoy doing crafts with my daughter. I am a very involved parent with her school and after school activities. But I do enjoy some time just to be myself.
I also volunteer on Saturday mornings at the local Animal Shelter, I truly enjoy that job.
I love country music, any artist. Love old time Rock N Roll. Not much into hip hop or rap but dance music in the club is good for a night out.
My daughter is my life\'s true joy. Being a Mom is one of the best career\'s in the world.
I have a college degree in Long Term Care Administration but find Social Worker more my style. I am not like many women who are into head games, as I think they are rather childish. I am honest, open, sometimes way too trusting, basically your down to earth country girl, just looking to spend some time with the right person and getting to know that special someone.
