I am the classic "farm-raised, get out of dodge for the "bright lights big city" as soon as grown" woman who returned to small town living to raise my children. I am divorced (very amicably - he is a great guy and my best friend, as well as my children's daddy), with two children of whom I have joint custody. I now live "in town" in a small western WI town. I am a professional consultant in the healthcare industry, but work almost exclusively from home, so make my own schedule, which I love! I get to maximize my family time and still have all the benefits of full time employment.

I love to be out-doors, and especially love working in my garden, and with my chickens (Rosa and Sugar are my newest chicks - see picture!). I also have a large dog, a guinea pig, a rabbit and two pet mice (my daughters). When I'm inside, I love to bake and cook. Maybe I should post picture of my sweet rolls?

I'm not much for city entertainments, though I'm game for the occasional night on the town to a movie, or a night of dinner and dancing. I'm much happier at the county fair, the rodeo or even the towns annual smelt feed!
