I enjoy being outdoors and appreciate that I can spend lots of time outside, both at work and at play. I do not have any predetermined destination at this moment, I think I will work to fully enjoy the journey each and every day. I approach life straight ahead and whatever happens, I can handle it. I believe that the work done today provides tomorrow's results. Life can not be lived in fear and doubt, life can only be enjoyed through faith, love and confidence in the future. I believe that friendship is the most important part of any relationship. If you can't be best friends with trust and respect, how can you be everything else... I own my business and have done so since 2001. I used to spend most of my days behind a big desk dealing with telephone calls, email and faxes (yes faxes). Now I am not so tied to the confines of an office (yes smart phones and mobile web help) and get to spend lots more time out of the "office". I am able to build, create, envision and every once in a while dream a bigger dream. I am fortunate that my job gives me the opportunity to work in some of the most beautiful places around, most of them with fantastic views. I grew up on a farm in southern Ohio (its still there, I visit often and will likely have my ashes scattered over it's fields) and I spent over 20 years in the Washington, D.C. area (northern Virginia, Loudoun County, horse country) and do love the beauty and all that area has to offer (but not the traffic). I spent the past 3 years at the OBX and now heading back to Northern Virginia. Not too many cattle or horses in my life right now, but that will all change in my future. I can ride a horse (make sure the saddle has a horn!), pull a calf, operate any piece of equipment, bale hay, build any barn, fence, pond and pen. Just because I haven't made a living on the farm for a few years does not mean I have forgotten. Jeans, boots and a diesel pickup truck are my daily norms. My business is Construction and Engineering and I have been blessed by doing work that I enjoy and realize success. I enjoy a good adventure and have been able to have many wonderful experiences. I am a very good cook but haven't practiced in quite some time. My tastes vary and I have been known to attend a few broadway plays here and there (I do appreciate the fine arts). But I also go to tractor pulls, dirt track races, cattle shows and love good ole county fairs. I like most sports of course, but favor baseball and football most (College games are always so much fun, go Buckeyes!, but a good little league or pop warner game will do just fine). My tastes in music are all over the map, well, except I have never really understood rap... I have been on my own for quite some time and would enjoy sharing what life has to offer. I have many dreams to realize and hope that you do too. There is a great big life out there just waiting to be explored, adventures to be created... interested??? Don't miss the forest because there are a few old trees in the way.. oh, by the way, I would like that when people see us in public that they are saying, or at least thinking "they should get a room"... just saying...
