I grew up in rural Iowa but have lived in Oviedo Florida for over 20 years now. The temps here are so mild, we pick our strawberries in Dec/Jan/Feb and we used to be the celery capitol of the world here. Instead of rows of sweet corn, we have rows of Palmetto trees, Queen Palm Trees, and ofcourse oranges/grapefruit. Somersby Ranch is just down the road a mile or two where you can board your horses. I Live in the Black Hammock Conservation Region of Seminole County Florida. Beautiful place to be. We call it Gods Country
