I run a small sheep farm in central NY with my daughter which includes raising most of our own food and homeschooling my grandchildren. I enjoy all the seasons, particularly winter, and love the mountains and all their varialibilty through the seasons. I am not complete unless I am outside working everyday but mis the companionship of dinners, movies and conversation. Sheep are the most versatile of animals and I love them for their demeanor, acceptance and beauty. We raise many types of animals to add to the productivity of our homestead but sheep remain my passion, and now I have become passionate about English Shepherds as excellent farm dogs. My dream is to find someone that loves all the country offers and embraces the idea that we can exist upon this beautiful Earth as one with what she offers without damaging the gift she offers. Life is to lived but doing as little harm as neccessary and learning to do better everyday to respect the life we have been given. I am now, this year, a retired kindergarten teacher, who has developed this farm over the past 15 years and would enjoy the company of that particular lady that shares the same values.
