What a pleasure to have a place to talk to ladies with an interest in farming.. :-)
My name is Mike and I have had a long term interest in farming. I work part time on my cousin's dairy farm (they also have dairy goats, chicken and sheep). My house is on a 3 acre parcel with 4 sheep and expect lambs in March!
Most of my working career has been in Federal service which led me to live in Australia and England for a number of years.
My interest in sheep farming started about 10 years ago when we were living on a sheep farm in North Yorkshire England (where "All Creatures Great and Small" was written). I substitute teach in public schools as a supplementary income.
I would like to meet a lady who enjoys farming and the outdoors. It is fine if she has children - maybe that's even better as I have two children myself. :)
