Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong century. Born & raised in the "big city" I've yearned for the wide open spaces, and the smell of fresh hay & horse manure as long I can remember. Bought my 1st horse as a teen & got a job to support myself. I took classes in high school & after to learn as much as I could about the horse industry. As an adult I've lived on hobby farms (90 acres) & also spent several years out west doing seasonal ranch work. Dudes in AZ, packing in the Mts. of WY, chased cows in MT.
I don't think I've ever felt more at peace & that my life actually had purpose then when I was living that life.
Unfortunatly cercumtances brought me bought home to MN. but I've never got it out of my system, the yearning to be back out there.

Current job: Light Assembly in Ramsey, MN.
I also work at the MN Renaissance Festival every year.
I've retained my class A license, & own a motorcycle.
I like to stay active & "do" things. I'd much rather be out riding, white water rafting or cleaning the barn then sitting in front of the TV. (I do love to read though!) I try to stay in shape, but find "working out" boring. So I try to do things that are exercise disquised as fun.
