I love life and all it has to offer. I am very appreciative of what I have been blessed with in my life. I am very easy to talk to, and I try hard never to be judgmental or critical of anyone. I work hard and I play hard. I try to always wear a smile, and I love to laugh...it\'s therapeutic for the soul. I love to dance and sing along with my favorite music, although I\'m not the greatest dancer, or the greatest singer, by any means. I like to make plans and be able to look forward to them, but am also very spontaneous. I am very loving and kind-hearted, but can certainly deviate from that if circumstances warrant (want references?..lol). I tend to be somewhat flirtatious, but in a good way, sweet and conservatively sexy (so I\'ve been told), and a hopeless romantic at heart. Sometimes I can be \"competitive,\" but mostly in a fun and mischievous way, independent, self-reliant, feminine, but also with a tomboy-ish side, depending on what\'s going on. I am somewhat territorial, but wouldn\'t call it jealous--too far along in life to waste my time on that. I am a lady that demands the utmost respect from a man; however, I can also roll with the best of \'em. I\'m certainly not above a funny dirty joke, or a dirty word occasionally. I have goals and expectations for myself and expect a potential \"significant other\" to have them also. I love to be spoiled and doted on, and I like to do the same for my special somebody. I offer to you what I expect from you. I will not play second fiddle or be the lower priority. WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IN A MAN: Honesty, sincerity, loyalty, faithfulness, romance, caring, giving, kind-hearted and considerate, strong and gentle, intelligent with common sense, a hard worker with a good work ethic, good sense of humor, appreciative, respectful, family-oriented with strong family values, who has old-fashioned values, morals, and qualities, who is dependable and can be trusted, who follows through on his word, is an animal lover, a non-smoker, and someone who likes to surprise me with small, loving gestures...it doesn\'t have to be anything expensive...it could be something as small as a little note, e-mail, message, text, or card, someone who is not egotistical, selfish, self-centered, who is into playing mind games or attempting to use reverse psychology, or who is a drug user or who overly imbibes in alcohol consumption. Someone who will allow me to maintain my independence, yet tuck me under their wing and be protective of me. Someone who is willing to try to take an interest in, and participate in, the things that I like and am involved in, and is willing to try new things, and I would do the same for him. A man that can recognize, appreciate, and accept our differences, and realizes that there is always going to be differences, but who is willing to build the relationship stronger because of those differences, and enjoys learning from each other, and willing to see and appreciate a different viewpoint from his own. Someone who is willing to grow and become stronger from each other\'s strengths, and to understand and improve upon, each other\'s weaknesses. To me, this is how you understand that person, and are willing to accept them as they are, and how they\'ve come to be the person that they are. A man who is willing to put God at the center and is willing to attend church with me...doesn\'t have to be a fanatic...but just to consider it important in life and in a relationship. A man who wants a true lady, not just a woman, and wants a real relationship that he is completely committed to, and one who knows what it takes, and what has to be done, to make it work, and is willing to work on it and put forth the effort that it takes. A man that knows how to treat a lady, and one who wants to be in a relationship because he wants a loving companion to share life with, to share the daily ups and downs with, to have someone to care for and to nurture, and to have someone do the same for him.
