I am a teacher in a small rural Missouri town. I love the country life and all it entails. Gardening and harvesting fresh veggies from the garden, canning those veggies to use in the coming winter, the quietness and solitude... and did I mention I am a 6th grade teacher?? hahah So, the solitude comes in handy.
The not so good thing is this same remoteness makes it hard to meet people! Nothing like having a companion, friend, lover to share one's life with. Coming home to animals is wonderful... love em to death... but they really don't care to hear about my day nor are they enjoyable to sit down at the dinner table to enjoy some good home cookin'.
I am an outdoor person, originally from California. But I really do think I was born to live in the country. After moving to Missouri in '97, I really don't think I could EVER live in the city again!

He should like staying home spending time with me, but also like to go have fun playing pool, going to the movies, hanging out with friends at gatherings/bonfires/special events. He would also have to be comfortable hanging around middle school kids, since I spend the majority of the day/year with them! Overall, he should be kind, patient, loving, affectionate, energetic...
