Hi, I'm Derek. Here are a few things about me. I'm a general contractor and run my own construction company. I built myself a new home over-looking Lake Superior near Duluth MN. I try to eat healthy and workout most days. I'm quiet and polite when out in public but am funny and joke around a lot when at home or with good friends. I'm also sweet, loving, sensitive, compassionate, passionate, smart, creative, artistic. I'm not controlling type and I don't have anger issues. I'm just a nice guy living a simple, quiet life in my country home and am ready to find someone to share my life with.

My hobbies and interests include fishing, camping, golfing, basketball, woodworking, drumming, and photography. I also love to cook and on a day off like to grab my camera and "kids" (pets) and take a little road trip. I haven't traveled much out of the state but I've been wanting to take some long road trips across the country so I plan to do a lot of that when I find a travel companion.

I still feel like a 20 year old but I got to face the facts that I'm getting up there in age and just want to find someone to share the rest of my life with so I'm looking for someone that also wants a serious long-term relationship, doesn't drink a lot or hangout in bars/clubs, doesn't smoke or is ready to quit for good and low drama.
