I am proud to be my age and enjoy sharing the hisotry of my era with someone who is not always looking for someone ten years younger. Those of us of a certain age have qualities that have been chisled by life's experiences.
I have been a widow for 20 years but up until recently I have been busy surviving and raising two sons, now grown. I am a newly retired nurse educator and now that I am not working, I realize that adventures are more enjoyable when shared with someone.
My parents were teachers and summers were spent truck farming, 3,000 tomato plants on 1/2 acre.
I grew up camping and fishing every summer and still love to do both.
I love to read, go antiquing and to flea markets, enjoy any live performance, work in my flower garden, and go on day trips to explore new places.
So much to do and so little time!
