I guess a little about me and what I am looking for...

I'd love to sit here and detail the whole thing but what fun would that be :). Seriously, I am looking to find a friend who might one day be more. Your qualities...hmm, Surprise me. Life is to short to be too picky!

I have learned that I have been looking for love in all the wrong places. What I mean is it took me a very long time (extremely thick headed at times) to realize that I was looking for the wrong person. Now I am looking for someone who is a lot like me in background, upbringing, family life, and values. Yeah simple I know but we men can be ahhh, shall we say, ummm, okay stupid at times. :) forgive us ladies

Where I'm from...

I was born in Baton Rouge, La. I have been all over the United States and to some parts of Canada. Lets not forget Alaska. I have also been to places abroad with the US Air Force (13 years as National Guardsman/reservist). My dream is to go anywhere and do anything (okay not anything) with the woman I will love and the family I will have, that is life's great adventure.

I have lived and loved and lost. I have made so many mistakes its hard to believe God has not traded me in for another model. But these things I know, God loves me, I am not God, Jesus saved me, I love my family, I am not perfect and never will be, but I will spend the rest of my life in that pursuit, I believe in love, marriage to one WOMAN for life, kids, having pets (cats, dogs, etc... okay no cockroaches...my brother's kids are raising those hugh beetle like cockroaches..eeeeyauck!!), home being the last place you want to leave and the first place you want to come home to, loving your parents and the importance of keeping families close together and not sacrificing you kids on the alter of a job opportunity (what I meant is taking them away from their grandparents and uncles and auntsand cousins whom love them and can reflect their value back to them), and finally Loving God with all your heart your mind soul and your strength.
