First, I have until 12/27 for my premium membership. Not sure that I will renew at this point in time.

I\'m a country girl at heart, and after spending all of my adult life living in Minnesota (near the Twin Cities) and Wisconsin, I moved back to SW Iowa to be close to family. Sometimes I feel as if I\'m out of place....still not sure that this is where I want to live. My small acerage allows me a way to pursue my interests, which include the outdoors, creating things with my hands, and my animals. I now keep a small herd of 6 or so alpacas for their beautiful fiber (wool). I have a spinning wheel and loom which I want to keep active. In addition, I also have 3 Angora goats (for their wool) and 2 Boer goats--wonderful weed-eating machines (great for pasture management). I\'ve got a small Allis-Chalmers that I use to help with some of my jobs. I don\'t mind working hard or getting dirty, and I enjoy being outside (but I wilt in the heat like a newly planted flower). I do enjoy being treated to a date out once in awhile.

I currently work in a hospital in Omaha as a Lead Chemistry Medical Technologist (in the laboratory). I haven\'t really connected with other people down here, since most people can\'t relate to my lifestyle. However, I have a wide and varied range of interests...from camping and hiking to cultural events. I enjoy going out to eat, to movies, to festivals, events, auctions, long weekend trips, or just exploring small towns or out-of-the-way places. B&B\'s are wonderful places to stay!! I\'ve got a passport now--went on my first cruise in January. I can be very happy being at home, enjoying my surroundings; then again, travel is fun, but I don\'t like to do it by myself.

I am a warm, genuine, caring, honest person. I am intelligent and financially responsible. I know I am easy to talk to...conversation is an important part of any relationship. I try to take good care of myself--I am a cancer survivor. Eating healthy (most of the time!) is important to me. Please be a man who takes care of himself, as well.

I wasn\'t really into material things before, nor am I now. What\'s important to me is faith in God, my family, living life, and appreciating the simple things. I have 2 daughters and 2 little granddaughters, who mean alot to me.

If you are someone who can relate to some of these things, we have something in common. In addition, would you enjoy sitting with me in the morning, having a cup of tea or coffee?How \'bout relaxing with a good beer or a glass of wine? Could you ever cook me a meal?? Do you want to work in the yard or on a project together?? Would you hold me during a thunderstorm or cuddle in a snowstorm?? How about watching a sunset from the porch? Just some thoughts....

Enjoy your life! It\'s the only one you\'ll have!
