I am basically an easy going person who enjoys talking to people, spending time outdoors, and playing with my lab. I love to shoot turtles down at the creek and listen to the crickets as night draws near. My nature is to be tender-hearted, compassionate, and nurturing. I am loyal to a friend to a fault. I love to laugh and be around optimistic people. Helping others brings me joy. A few of my interests have been hunting, fishing, gardening, photography, travel to new and \'old favorite\' places, and spending quality time with family and friends. I enjoy a picnic in the country as much as dining out at a fine restaurant. I am content also to relax at home over a leisurely meal with a good friend. I have always liked going to the movies, attending a live concert, spending an evening watching a good play at the theater, or getting comfy and watching a movie on dvd at home. Whether it is taking a long scenic drive together or just sitting on the back porch with a fresh brewed cup of coffee or cold drink, enjoying each others\' company is what really matters to me. I could be in the most beautiful part of the world or right in my own backyard, the important thing is being with someone who is special to me. I love to be touched, receive a genuine bear hug, have my hand held, and treated like a lady. No women\'s lib here! I am an open book and wear my feelings on my sleeve so to speak. You will never have to wonder where I stand. Good character, integrity, honesty and standing up for what I believe in is important to me. I have been a devoted mother to four wonderful children who are now all grown and feel I have done a good job with no regrets. Now I am looking forward to meeting my soulmate and enjoy doting on him. I want to experience as much of what life has to offer as possible. I would like to travel to other parts of the world. I am always interested in learning new things and new cultures and would possibly like to visit a third world country to do what I can to serve and help others in need. I hope to one day see and photograph the Serengeti plains of Africa, snowmobile the pristine beauty of Yellowstone Park staying in little cabins as we travel, and fish throughout America in some of the most beautiful parts of the country God has made. I loved spending time in Alaska and driving from town to town because sunset was at midnight. You see the untouched beauty of the land and animals in the wild. I really enjoyed viewing and hunting whitetails in South Texas and hope to do so again one day. Taking time to notice and enjoy the simple and beautiful things in life are what brings me pleasure.
