update March 2011--I am desirous to make a committment for life, how do I know that...when you know you know. I don\'t want the freedom of single life, I want the companionship of an enduring love.
Grown in the hills of NC, cultured in rancher boots and jeans with a crease, educated in the school of hard knocks, learned in a profession that I love, I herald from the State of North Carolina.

Try as I may, I\'ll never escape, nor do I want to, my roots and love for the farm.

I don\'t fit into the mold. I am oftentimes non-conforming, yet generally experience more success than most folks. Farming may translate into a lot of things, but doing it on a tractor and using baled hay will be part of it. I love to develop real estate, it is farming, in a unique way. I look forward to the traditional two story ranch/farm home with a barn out back, and probably a greenhouse for fresh vegatables and amusing plants. Built into the wall in the foyer, and perhaps another room you\'ll gaze at a 30 gallon aquarium.

I enjoy an occassional rodeo, a good riding horse or two; a jack-russell dog is always welcomed as part of the family, oh, and don\'t leave out a couple of calico barn cats.

You might be surprised that in the mornings you\'ll find me enjoying my time in a white starched shirt, silk tie and worsted-wool blend suit. It is not a task for me to function all day without scuffing a meticulous shine. But there is nothing more comfortable than jeans, boots and a sport coat that remains classic and notable in any setting.

Honor and nobility are values worthy, to which I ascribe. Being courteous and practicing manners are simply hallmarks of maturity, distinquished with a humble honest pride. Some say I can articulate. I really think it is simply \"flat-out real\" with what you have to say. Very few people in our society can handle the truth, because it forces them to look in a mirror.

I oftentimes cut through \"the chase.\" At our age if you don\'t know what you want, you\'re surely not going to find it.

I DON\'T RESPOND TO FLIRTS. IF YOU DON\'T HAVE A PICTURE POSTED, OR SAY IN YOUR AD THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PROVIDE ONE UPON REQUEST, I WON\'T RESPOND. SECONDLY, WHILE I APPRECIATE YOUR COMPLIMENTS, THEY ARE TIME CONSUMING TO RESPOND TO; ONLY THE SERIOUS MINDED THAT KNOW WHAT THEY WANT AND ARE WILLING TO PUT ACTION WITH THEIR DESIRES NEED RESPOND.

It\'s kinda like a sunset. You just don\'t happen to see a sunset. You desire, expect and purposely watch it happen. You can\'t be sure, just how it will set, but you know in your heart that it won\'t be soon forgotten.
