Born and raised in Great Britain, transplanted to the USA in 1984. I have two grown children, my son just returned from a tour in IRAQ. I\'m very passionate about animals, especially dogs and I rescue senior dogs that people don\'t look at when adopting. I\'m on my last 3 seniors, I need a dog with more get up and go to keep me active! In a nut-shell I\'ve done many things during my life. I first started with horses, as a semi-working pupil to become a riding instructor, then went to Guide Dogs for the Blind, truck driver, Pet Store owner, Lab Assistant, and now I own and operate a self-service dog wash facility.I\'ve raised calves, pigs, rabbits, worms, chickens, goats, milk cow and a large market garden. I\'m not afraid of hard work and love to get dirt under my nails, happiest in jeans and T-shirt, but I think I clean up pretty well for a night out on the town. I love to dance, but never learned to dance country, something that I\'d like to remedy.
I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh, I really don\'t take life too seriously, it\'s way too short. I like to cook, (gives me greater pleasure if I raised all my own ingredients), but alas, work doesn\'t allow me to do this very much now.
I love to watch the moon come up over the mountains, and watching nature come alive after it\'s long slumber, listening to the frogs at night is just pure heaven to me. BUT, I\'m ready to share all this with someone special, I miss the holding of hands, the snuggling by a nice warm fire, cooking up a storm in the kitchen and the great smell of home grown beef sizzling on the BBQ, good conversation, and a good laugh at the days\' happenings.
I\'m willing to relocate to anywhere in the country, for the right person, there\'s so much of this beautiful country to see yet, and although Oregon is a beautiful place, there\'s more beauty to behold.
One thing you should know about me though, is that I don\'t wear make-up and I don\'t color my hair, I can\'t understand why one should want to change what God gave to you. (plus, do you know how much all that stuff costs)? I\'m just a down to earth, honest, loyal, trustworthy person who, after winning my trust would go the end of the world for you.
I\'m looking for someone with similar traits, (especially the make-up part)!!
