I used to have a 54 acre farm, few head of cattle,pigs, ducks, chickens,geese, guinneas pheasants and rabbits. I do a lot of gardening and canning. I have already canned over 100 quarts of food this year and haven't even touched the tomatoes yet! I cook clean sew and do the laundry, yet can hold my own doin' the farm chores as well, puttin' up hay or hauling wood I work right alongside the men and am not afraid to get my hands dirty, yes I've even shovelled shit on occassion.LOL. I love to be outside, taking care of the animals or mowing the lawn, anything to be outdoors, Ilike to camp and fish. I grew up in a large family which is very close. I like holiday get to gethers, have 4 children 14,7,6,and 5. the oldest 3 are boys and of course theres my little tomgirl who loves to go to the barn with me and help do chores. and am planning on going back to college soon. thinking of a bachelors in bio which would qualify me for employment in either ag or medical . I can take care of all these things on my own but would like to meet a man who would help me do them and work side by side not expect me to do it all alone or sit and watch while I do them. A real man who takes care of things and can be depended on to do his best for the good of the family. you take care of me I take care of you! it's mutual! I am an antiques dealer and an artist and I love to make something out of nothing from an old piece of barnwood to a chunk of iron I like to see the usefullness or beuaty in everything and recondition it so as not to fill the landfills. I cook from scratch (nothing like hot pancakes on a chilly morning) no box mixes or schwanns food here! I try to raise my kids, animals and gardens as natural and wholesome as possible, although I did have to resort to some pesticides in the garden this year the potato bugs were not only wiping out the taters but the tomatoes as well! I can milk a cow make butter from the cream and bake the bread to eat it on. I'm just as at home in the kitchen as I am in the barn, I enjoy cooking for the ones I love. I don't watch much tv but like to curl up under a blanket with you and watch a movie sometimes. I like to laugh and make jokes can be quite sarcastic at times but don't worry it's all in fun! I have a few hobbies I enjoy,(jack of all trades master of none haha). I am extremely easygoing
and get along with most everybody, have a giant heart that I sometimes wear on my sleeve. I enjoy history and like to visit living history museums epecialy the workig historical farmsteads. I am truly a "glass half full" person full of optimism and cheer, and am willing to stand behind you 100percent for our family.
my biggest dreams are open fields dotted with a few head of cattle or other livestock, peace and serenity, a nice big 'ole farmhouse a few good friends to share it with, the laughter of happy children and the love of my life to sleep on it with every night!
