Thanks for stopping to read this but mainly I was just curious to check out this site after a friend at church mentioned it to me.

I grew up on a small farm in the midwest and miss it to this day: falling asleep to the sound of bullfrogs and whippoorwills coming through the window, the wonderful one-finger-off-the-steering-wheel wave that folks give each other when they pass on blacktop roads, the smell of rain settling the dust in the fields... Beats the heck out of the fire truck sirens and mega-bass stereo systems that are their regrettable urban/suburban counterparts.

I believe in the importance of knowing God in a way that matters, of caring for this amazing planet, of living simply, and of buying American when possible instead of cutting our feet out from under us.

Be that as it may, I guess I\'m not really in (or on) the market for anything relationship-wise, but look on the bright side: this is one of the times when \"it\'s not you, it\'s me\" is actually true!
