Happy horsegal (with 4 dogs and a cat, too), been divorced enough times to know I don't want to do it again..... divorce, that is! :-) Been divorced LONG enough to know that living alone is OK. My kids are grown and live away from home...... I love them and we visit as often as we can........ they both live in CA now. I am currently searching for property/home near Ft Myers/Naples, to re-open my riding/training stable. I miss lessons with the kids.... the smiles when they "get it right"!

Living a healthy, active life among my animals is foremost on my list. I'm not "lonely", "needy", "incomplete", "controlling", "bitter", "broken" or "a player", so I don't need 'fixing', I'm too old for you to change me, and I've seen most of the games.... I've done my fishing and camping, and this dog don't hunt (though I thoroughly enjoy photography excursions anywhere!). I love God, life and my country..... support our troops (my son is a Marine.... did his 1st tour in Iraq and second one in Afghanistan, and I thank God that he and his new bride both have returned safely).

I like the water, warm beaches, green pastures and most people. Farm-raised, and city-trained, I still like to dress up for an occasional glitzy night out.... guess that's one of the reasons I enjoy cruises, though it's always good to be greeted with wagging tails and a whinny, when I've been gone. I'm sure that the hardships in my life have made me a better person.

Gardening, painting, writing, photography and growing old gracefully are my most ardent dreams and happiness for my friends, family and children are my most fervent wishes. To find someone whose personality, life and ideas for the future mesh with mine?....... icing on the cake. I've tried a couple of the other dating/meeting sites, but this one seemed to be the right way to meet others who begin with the same ideals...... we'll see............
