Growing up the 4th oldest on a North Dakota farm/ranch was a wonderful introductory to country life for me! Those rural life experiences were a blessing to give me a work ethic, practical knowledge, a value for family and an appreciation for nature! I continue to love farm/ranch life and frequent my 4 sibling's farms to help with grain harvesting and working cattle! This life style remains a huge part of "me" and I love it!

By education I'm an Agricultural Engineer and have lived in Colorado since 1973. My dream was always to farm however with four of us boys in the family that loved farming it was just too difficult for all of us to get a start farming.....so it seemed appropriate with my education to pursue engineering. My alternate dream was to be self employed so I left engineering in 1980. The desire to live more in the mountains and in a smaller city took me from the Denver area to Montrose, Co in 1994 an area I just love. It is an outdoor haven for an outdoor enthusiast like me! Hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, campfires, atving, jeeping, snow skiing and barbeques all appeal to me! Montrose was a great area to own a garden center however I sold it in 2005 when I became divorced to allow more time with my children, time to "smell the roses" and pursue new dreams. I have three children that I'm very close to!

My life is great now but I'm ready to meet a special lady to share the rest of my life with in marriage! I'd enjoy someday being in another business with my spouse with the first choice being farming.....does anyone need help operating a farm or ranch?! If retirement seemed feasible for us as a couple that would work too! I presently live on 40 acres near BLM land and love it!

My friends would say that I'm caring, a good listener, dependable, adventuresome, optimistic, hard working, financially responsible, spiritual and fun! I love to live life with a balance for faith, hard work, relationships and recreation. I'm seeking a very compatible person that shares some of my interests and passions! Someone that values family and friends, shares my Catholic spirituality and is financially responsible. We both must be deeply in love and attracted to each other!
