My childhood years were spent as a slave picking rock in the hot sun (Ok, we got paid and a cousin made pop holders on the side of the rock wagon). I also had to spend time in the cab with my Dad, Uncle, or Grandpa. Around my sophmore year in high school, I started getting interested in a computing career.

My Dad always had a computer for farm records and it was fun writing apps for math classes on my calculator. I graduated with computer science and software engineering degrees in 2007 and started my masters in 2011.

To keep my green thumb, I do some gardening, especially the last few years since I got my house. I am also involved with the evangelism board with my Church and looking forward to coming with some ideas after some recent workshops I have gone to.
