Hiya! Just found this site and am going to try it out. I just moved to Lancaster, Pa because I love it here, what with all the farms and cows that are here. I was a dairyman for 15 years and sold my milk cows 2 yrs ago, but kept my 15 best heifers/cows that are being milked by friends back in my hometown of western maryland. I now inspect dairy farms for a milk co-op in Lancaster, and have around 100 Amish farms that I control. Its pretty interesting and I love it here dispite the insane tourist traffic. I raise heifers yet from my best cow families as I can't get away from the hands-on aspect of farming. I can't sum my life up in this little bitty box but will share more if interested.
