I am 48 years old and mother to three adult (I use the term loosely!) kids. I\'m a therapist in a rural community mental health center and my kids have been out of the house just long enough for the oldest to come back home. I had just barely gotten over my empty nest syndrome and was starting to enjoy it!

I had them really close together and I got to be a stay at home mom for 8 years. At that time, we lived on a 107 acre farm and I was barefoot and pregnant for three of those years! I have very fond memories of sitting in a lawn chair up on the ridge under a maple tree, a baby in my lap and two more in the sandbox, waiting on the water man to come to fill the cistern. This was often the highlight of the week - little boys love big trucks! Anyway, I guess you could say I am close to my kids. I also have a granddog - well, actually two. They are puggles, half pug/half beagle and very wiggly and cute. I love music - all kinds but especially folk, blues, soul, americana, the 60\'s, bluegrass, have I left anything out?
