I\'m a 65-year-old physician/veterinarian re-located to WV from ID. I work full time as medical director and family physician at a community health center and don\'t have much opportunity to meet/pursue romantic prospects. I am very much an outdoor person and somewhat of a \"cowboy\" at heart with a love of animals (being a veterinarian as well as a physician I guess that\'s a no brainer). I presently share my life with a 7-year-old Labrador retriever, \"Feathers”. “Love me - Love my dog!” My other passion has been aviation. I was a naval aviator/flight surgeon until an aircraft mishap in 1993 ended that career. I hold a commercial pilot’s license with instrument and multi-engine ratings, but haven\'t been current in quite some time. Would like to get back flying again and have been thinking about using some GI benefits to add rotary wing quals., but not certain that will happen. Work has kept me extremely busy lately. As medical director I have oversight and administrative responsibilities for a medical staff of six with an additional physician joining us in September. This is in addition to primary patient care. I also hold a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine at WVU that requires me to travel to Morgantown two days every other month. I suppose that in some fashion I’m still flying, just at a much lower altitude.

I am most at ease in the country and doing things outdoors. I enjoy the company of pets and animals and the relaxing effect of an easy trail ride thru the woods. I like the water and enjoy being on it, in it or under it. I like travel, meeting new people, exploring new places and different cultures. I love flying and general aviation, but I am not current. I have many interests and abilities, but no one to share them with. That’s what I’m really missing and hoping to find – a special person to share life’s precious moments. I am looking for someone, who is insightful, educated and able to communicate openly willing to discuss ideas, perspectives, life, plans and most importantly, feelings.
