Hi! I\'m a third grade elementary teacher seeking to share my life with a person of good character that has compassion for other people and a good sense of humor. Although I\'m not a farmer, I was raised on a small farm in northwest Iowa. We raised hogs and chickens and grew beans, corn, and hay. I\'ve lived in a country setting most of my life, but I\'m living in a town of about 12,000 population, now. I thoroughly enjoy the open spaces, fresh air, and beautiful scenery in the country. I admire the sense of comradery that farm families have for each other and their neighbors, their work ethics, their love and respect for nature and all that\'s in God\'s beautiful world, and the healthy attitude they share for having just clean fun.
I enjoy being outside whether it involves working, playing, fishing, hiking, camping, or just sitting under the stars and staring up at the sky. Traveling to places of scenic or historic interest is fun. I\'d like to find a companion that enjoys similar interests.
My family is also very important to me. I have 2 adult children: a daughter 30 years and a son 27 years. They\'re both married, and I have fun playing with my grandson. He\'ll soon have a little brother or sister.
