I was raised on a small family dairy farm in central NY. I grew up in a small town attending public school. I went to college for forestry. I ended up getting pretty well educated, so I\'m not a bumpkin, but definitely a country person. I attended Virginia Tech for grad school which through many trips for research help me get acquainted with the South. Worked in the beautiful state of Alabama for 3 years as a forester.
Now I\'m a self employed arborist (tree trimmer / tree expert) back in central NY. I started a small vineyard this spring. ..have a fish pond as well. Currently not farming for a living - more as a sideline or hobby. Always have been interested in Agriculture. Winters here are deary and long but this is home. a wise person once said \"you\'ve got to take the good with the bad.\" : )

I\'ve been searching for a woman with Christian values and country sensibilities. My faith in Christ is important to me. I am a brain cancer survivor and that experience was ultimately a big boost to my Christian faith.

My politics are conservative. For president I am supporting John McCain. Not that you have to be in 100% agreement with that, but gives you more info on me.
