I really like being able to help others even if it\'s just to be that one friend you can call day or night to rant or share good news. Doing niceties like leaving the light on when you\'re out late with friends, meeting you at the door with a hug and a kiss and dinner on the table, unexpectedly stopping by work with a picnic lunch, or bringing you coffee in bed is second nature to me. I don\'t know how to do or be anything else, but I am more inclined to do things, if asked rather than told what to do, when to do it and how to do it. I have a very positive \"can do\" attitude, a warped sense of humor and am a little shy at first. I like to get and give \"just because\" hugs and surprises even if it\'s just little notes to be discovered in unexpected places.

I\'m low maintenance, easy to please and believe relationships need give, take and compromise from both sides. Lasting relationships need communication, devotion, respect and consideration as well as alone time, time with friends and together time. I don\'t want to be smotherd, but I don\'t like being ignored. I like both dogs and cats, walks in the rain, drives in the mountains, trips to the beach, picnics, movies, reading, sewing, visiting new places. I\'m always interested in learning new things, except things that come under the heading of \"death wish\" like bungee jumping, sky diving, and driving in Wal-Mart parking lots.
