I\'m a country girl just looking to see what I\'m missin.
I\'ve never lived anywhere but on a farm and have no wish to change now.
I am learning to be as self sufficient as possible. I have taught myself to knit and spin wool, make cheese and laundry soap. Next, I will learn to make bath soap, grow a wider variety of produce and learn how to keep it fresh through root cellaring.
I am canning and drying a wider variety of foods and have learned a new technique called dry-canning for keeping dry food stuffs safe from pests and spoilage.
My garden is expanding to include grains, herbs and animal feeds for the first time. I would love to have a sunroom filled with tropical fruit and coffee trees.
I do alot of reading and learning.
I currently have cows, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats and canaries. I\'m hoping to add hogs, fryer chickens, and trout.
I enjoy a wide range of activites, such as, hunting, fishing, camping, trail rides, mountains, forests, bon fires, power failures, thunderstorms and a lot more.
Things I don\'t enjoy would include, partying, shopping, mind games, lies etc.
