I am not into the bar scene at all and would much rather be home working on the ranch/farm, helping can/preserve food, working on a tractor, my truck/car or a piece of equipment than in a smoke filled bar. Gave up drinking and smoking long ago and do not enjoy one bit being around smokers in a smoke filled bar or tavern. It is just so nauseating to me now. I left that life behind many years ago.

I very much enjoy trips to nowhere and frequently drive down old dirt roads to see where they go. I enjoy flea markets, auctions, Historic sites, the unknown is interesting, UFO's are fun, nature is a wonder being both beautiful and bountiful.

I am 6 foot tall carrying a few xtra pounds which I am working on losing.
I recently started wearing glasses full time. I will put up new pics if and when I get around to it and when they are available.

I'm adventurous and passionate but, somewhat of a shy outdoors loving character. I'm romantic, kind, compassionate, intelligent & interested in a multitude of subjects, sports and activities. I have had many careers throughout my life and for the past 8 yrs I have been working as a Cement Mill Operator & Heavy Equipment Operator for a local cement plant. I believe I have a great sense of humor and frequently laugh at myself. I love to cook and BBQ. I love kids, and all animals (my recently deceased pup Jade a wonderful pure blood wired hair German pointer), computers (build my own), carpentry (former General Contractor), hiking, camping, fishing, mountain/x country biking, motorcycles. Novice motorcycle rider. I enjoy learning to weld (-;, working on cars/trucks, trailers and my equipment. I love reading a good novel, paper or magazine. I love canoeing, backpacking, scuba diving and various other sports. I would love to meet someone who enjoys similar activities and who also might have a passion for or desire to learn pond construction, landscaping and gardening. Would love to meet someone with an interest/knowledge in self sufficiency, farm/ranch life and willing to help and teach me as it is my interest and dream to own a small self sufficient ranch/farm or land to build one on. I am currently looking for properties preferably of at least 20/25+ acre wooded parcel bordering a large pond, creek, or river and or preferably having a large pond on the property of sufficient size large enough to support self sufficient fish farming/harvesting or an area suited and large enough to build a large pond on.
I am currently considering a 42 acre wooded parcel in upstate NY near Boonville with a spring fed 7-8 acre Beaver pond and off grid by about 3/4 of a mile.

I am thinking thta some time in the future of adopting a female Airedale puppy or 2 when they can be located. If not then I am not sure what breed I would adopt. I have to give it some thought. Maybe a couple of Australian Cattle Dogs.

I would love to have some horses to ride (have to learn how though) especially for trail and for camping which would make camping so much more fun and adventurous I think. Years ago I had a couple of Appaloosa's but really didn't get to ride frequently enough to be a really proficient rider.
I would love to have all kinds of animals to include but not limited to chickens, goats, beef cattle, maybe some rabbits and probably many other animals.

I hope to hear from like minded individuals for interesting conversation regarding mutual interests, to make friendships and also gain knowledge from those with experience and a willingness to share that knowledge. And, who knows where wandering through those adventures could take us. Relocation considered possible given the right woman, location and situation.
