Wow..even though I am a writer I still find it hard to write about myself. Okay…so here it goes….long ago in a galaxy far far away….WAIT!, wrong story. In the beginning...I was born late so my Mom says that is why I am never on time for anything. And..truthfully, I’m usually not. I graduated in 1987 from a small high school in Ohio. Yes it was the era of Bon Jovi and big hair, and I indulged in both. Two weeks later I took off across country to start my life and I have been living adventures ever since. I have 4 kids, but what you need to know is that they are the most important fixtures in my life. I am a very involved mom that is a permanent fixture at sporting events and school functions. I do, however, know that my children are going to grow up and go on with their lives. (One has already been gone two years and another leaves for Europe next year.) With that in mind, I work hard to build a life for myself and try not to focus my entire life around them.
Life has always been an adventure to me. Whether during good times or bad there is always something to be learned and an experience to take away with you. I want to spend the rest of my life looking for those experiences.
Now for my quirks….I love black and white photography. I believe a person’s real essence shows thru when photographed that way and since I dabble in the art I hope my work reflects a person\'s true beauty. I love all types of music, but George Strait makes my heart flutter and jazz gets the blood pumping. I love the rain. Being in it….even better. I do Yoga, love football and fishing, and I am a GREAT cook. I am organized to a fault, notoriously late, and extremely sappy.
I have lots of acquaintances, but few actual friends and they are very important to me. I never apologize (unless I wreck your car or ruin your shirt….) I believe in God, heaven and hell, all that….but my interpretation of the Bible is probably not necessarily the same as everyone else’s. I am very open minded and try hard not to judge people.
I work hard to be a good person because I truly believe in carma and I think we are all responsible for making the world a better place.
I want to live life to the fullest and explore every inch of this world I can. Life is meant to be lived and I really want to live in it!
