I have a twinkle in my eye and love the sound of rain on the roof, a beautiful star filled sky, the sight of the combines cutting our wheat, and the fun times celebrating after another successful branding with family, friends, and the neighbors!

I grew up in the woods on 40 acres in the Cascade Mountains of Washington, but spent my summers on a large wheat farm. I come from a long line of farmers. My grandma taught me to love the land and see it\'s value and beauty. To protect it! I understand the challenges of saving and maintaining the family farm.

I have just returned to Washington from spending a year taking care of my grandpa on the family wheat farm in the midwest and teaching middle school. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to spend that time there. I feel like a real farmgirl now! Check the weather every morning...and I\'m proud to say I never once went in the ditch driving those muddy dirt roads!

I am hardworking and dedicated to the people and things I believe in. I believe I need to make a difference in the lives around me and do whatever I can to help.

But of course, I love to have fun too! I like to hike, canoe, riverraft and ride quads! I like to raise a big garden, and enjoy canning. I\'m a great cook and believe in the more the merrier around the table.

I cherish my family and friends! I am friendly, energetic, down to earth, and passionate about things or people I love.

I love children laughing, the trees and the stars, and friends around a campfire. Until next time...
