I'm a retired teacher. I live on the farm where I was born, as was my father. I play guitar and sing. I'm working on converting old fields into wildlife plots and trying to use native grasses in hope of re-introducing quail into the area. I have walking trails in the woods and mule trails too (Kawasaki). There are 40 acres of woods behind my house. I teach arthritis aquatic exercise three afternoons a week, but mostly stay at home with my Brittany, Georgie. (and 4 birds). Georgie loves to ride on the mule with me and go around the farm checking on fences and fields. I'm bird-watching when I'm outside as well as inside with 4 feeders outside my window. I rent out 2 fields for cotton. My son lives down the road and my daughter has just bought the house I grew up in, a quarter mile down the road. I'm a great cook, bread baker and read a lot when the weather is too bad to spend a lot of time outside.
