I use them most

I have a little farm with ducks and milk goats and a big garden.
I've long been interested in growing most of my own food and I am doing that now. this feels good.
I garden alot, I've taught a organic gardening and always learning...
I like putting away (and eating) local meats -> salmon, deer, seafood,
picking local berries and making jam and chutney and wine
I appreciate living surrounded and influenced by the bounty of the natural world, and on an island
I play, write and sometimes record music. I love living in a small community, close to the ocean and big old forests.

I'm honest, open, sometimes serious, sometimes bit silly, sometimes quiet, spend alot of time outside,

I love the whole process of food,
growing, harvesting, cooking, eating,
It helps me be more aware of seasons and weather,
food seems to inform how I live alot lately.

I'm not so automatically good at… organizing my material stuff, reading things I'm not interested in, or plumbing, electrical, slow at things I've learned from having to figure out, like building,

I built a house from wood I've milled and salvaged, still working on it, currently living with a small off-grid power-system,
I kayak guide in a beautiful isolated area, teach piano and accordion and am bilingual in french and english,
and - enjoy having a great dog

things I love:
hats, MUSIC, accordions, pianos, pump organs, big parsnips, small hikes, carrots, canoeing, sea kayaking, beachcombing, harvesting seaweed, seafood and berries, fresh cold milk with something sweet, such as chocolate, fruit trees, finding rare endemic berry bushes, my wood-stove, wooden antiques, old tools, old wooden chairs, trees, fruit and berry wine-making, baking sourdough bread, home made cheese,

mushroom hunting, watching bears, getting to know someone one on one, getting absorbed in creating music, lying in bed, dreaming, snow, listening to (and watching) a language I don't know, foreign accents, salmon fishing, skating so much I'm sore...

I love biking with my dog,
milking and observing the goats,
I like subtle communication / interactions with and between animals, I like honest, direct communication

music from other parts of the world, learning from others and old folks and books,
I like having too many interesting books to read, and too much amazing music to listen to, endless potential, information and inspiration,
I'm on two local community association boards...
