I believe those little things in a relationship are what make love wonderful. Flowers for no reason, a special meal for two by candlelight or sharing a picnic by a lake or stream, that little pat on the tush as we pass in the hall. I love to cook and find sharing the kitchen while preparing a meal quite romantic. Sharing a love of nature and of poetry would be nice. Walking in public holding hands. A hike in the rain. A public kiss.
I prefer a picnic lunch on a scenic overlook or a sandwich in a little out of the way village that we have discovered on a drive to nowhere.
I love to garden. Getting my hands in the dirt is my therapy. Enjoying the beauty of flowers and nature is very special to me. Sitting on a porch with someone special in the early morning enjoying a cup of tea while watching the sun come up or watching butterflies and hummingbirds is a wonderful way to start a day.
I share my home with two wonderful rescued dogs who are my local family. I am blessed to be chosen to give them the safety and love they were lacking in their life. You would think they are the lucky ones but I receive so much moe than I give.
