She thought it was over after the first date

My fiancé, James, and I met on FarmersOnly. We have so much in common and sometimes finish each other’s sentences. I was raised on a small ranch with cows and tractors and such on about 100 acres. I teased him when we first started dating because he hadn’t worked cows before or driven a tractor and of course I have. I called him my coastal country boy. Now he helps my family on the farm and loves it. He is now my coastal cowboy! <3. - Brandi

What did you do on your first date?

Our first date was February 6, 2016. It was the day of the Super Bowl. We watched the game and he played his guitar for me. ❤️❤️

When did you know that he was the one?

I’m not sure? I didn’t think it would go anywhere after the first date, but I was wrong! It was most likely shortly after we met, maybe a month or so. We have so many things in common and turned out we have a mutual friend.

How did he propose?

He took me home to Yoakum, Texas where I grew up. He told my parents he was going to propose so they knew. I kind of had an idea he was going to do it because I knew when the rings were going to be delivered which was on April 4, 2018 (the same day he proposed). He took me to my parent's pasture and parked by their fish tank. He wanted to feed the fish so we brought fish food with us. I was driving his truck. He got out before me and I met him at the tailgate. I was reaching for the fish food and was picking my teeth with a toothpick. He proposed simply. Right then he knelt down, said my full name and of course asked if he could marry me.

What is your favorite thing about each other?

We have so much fun together it’s hard to say. We have a natural vibration, a strong chemistry and both have a sense of humor and we get one another.
