About bristlecone:
I am very practical and capable of making my way through life but would enjoy the company of someone who can remind me of the fun things in life. Time and experience has taught me that age is not as important an issue as attitude. I am a thinking conservative and don't tolerate sheeple too well. I am into history of the area, forensic science/detective work and researching land records. Maps are my friends but the GPS unit still has me stumped. My computer is a good tool and becomes more so as I learn to use it. I am learning all there is to know about old cars and enthusiasts thereof. I have one unruly Border Collie mix dog who worships me for rescuing him. I lead a very diverse life style and could be known as eclectic in my interests. I am permanently at home on the ranch and have recently purchased a motorhome so I can go other places temporarily. I am interested in finding men friends who can relate to my situation and add to my life. I would hope to meet that special guy who grows into a nice close comfy friend. Eventually I want to find another soulmate.

I want to meet a guy who can relate to me and my situation and can add happiness, humor, compassion, companionship and inspiration to my rather work-a-day, pragmatic life. He must like to be out of doors as much as possible and enjoy all that there is in the countryside around us. He should be easy to look at and listen to, capable of taking care of himself and supporting his own way of life. I can cook up a storm when there are more than one mouth to feed. I am looking for casual dating, but it should be known that I am hoping for that to develop into something more meaningful with time and experience at this thing, they call dating, as I never did much of it. Being alone is no fun but I don't know how one gets back into a relationship at this stage of life. There are no common denominators on this website and I can't figure how to put down my everyday activities and get to the business of meeting the new guy. I'm supposedly retired but I have never worked so hard in my life. Family is important but they don't consume my life and he shouldn't be consumed by his, either. Ideal, ideal would be a displaced rancher with attentive mechanical abilities, and all the aforementioned social qualities that go along with a good relationship.
